Energy level, represented by enhanced geothermal system (EGS), is not a current rival to other conventional energy sources due to very high capital and operational costs. Simulations predict competitiveness of EGS in time framework<br> of CHPM development. Extraction of metals from geothermal fluid is a commercially untested technology, which has no clearly defined operation costs. This makes the economic feasibility assessment difficult. Theoretical models suggest that positive economic feasibility can be achieved only on sites with higher concentrations of dissolved metals in brines and/or higher fluid flow.

A key aspect ensuring public acceptance of CHPM technology is the stakeholder engagement from the very beginning of a future CHPM project development. EU policy framework is very supportive for development of renewable energy sources and innovative low-impact mining methods. A combine innovative energy and raw materials target of CHPM technology is ahead of policies and legislative frameworks. Definitions of specific terms (EGS, EGS-orebody, etc.) and legislative unifying of both CHPM levels under one government authority will be key for CHPM development form a policy perspective.

Terenni etapa zahrnovala mapovani a popis výchozů kulmských hornin v okoli Holasovic.

Specifically the drop of gold prices pushes many operations to its limits. This study focuses on capabilities of automated mineralogical analysis when searching for gold losses during the ore beneficiation process. The TIMA Bright Phase Search allowed for finding scarcely occurring gold grains in tailings in a fast and efficient way. The device was able to characterize gold grain size, locking and liberation degree in addition providing all necessary data to identify the exact cause gold loss.

Geochemicke složeni uraninitu odraži ctyři hlavni procesy: 1) substituce za U při primarni krystalizaci (např. Y, REE); 2) radioaktivni rozpad, vznik radiogenniho izotopy Pb; 3) inkorporace kationů, zejmena Ca, Si a Fe; a 4) oxidace U4+ na U6+ (Janeczek a Ewing 1992, Alexandre et al. 2016). Ukazuje se, že ve některých připadech je možne odlisovat od sebe uranova ložiska různe geneze na zakladě geochemicke složeni uraninitu (Frimmel et al. 2014, Alexandre et al. 2016).

Mokrsko Gold Deposit: Cathodoluminescence Textures ofHydrothermal Quartz, Fluorite and Geochronology – SupportingEvidence for Intrusion Related Gold Deposit

Although the intensive exploration works took place at the deposit, the origin of the deposit is still not completely resolved. Aim of the research, presented in this abstract, is to use a combination of modern analytical methods (including cathodoluminescence) allowing detailed analysis of ore-bearing hydrothermal quartz and contribute to the issue of the genesis of the deposit. Cathodoluminescence studies of samples from the deposit showed, that hydrothermal quartz has several generations, which point to changes of crystallization conditions during mineralizing events. First two generations of the quartz show partially preserved growth zoning and third generation recrystallization of fissures in veins. Complicated CL textures of hydrothermal quartz, presence of fluorite in gold-bearing ore structures, temporal and spatial relationship to intrusion of the Blatna suite...

This tool is based on a system dynamics approach and uses the free software Vensim Model Reader. The CHPM Self-Assessment Tool allows to simulate revenue stream from both energy and metal extraction levels, and shows how it is influenced by costs, taxes, metal market, economic growth and other aspects. Users can modify values and compere graph outputs of different scenarios.

In an accessible manner, it will also try to explain the legislative framework surrounding the issue of exploration areas and to explain how activities connected with building energy infrastructure may influence the public. The book deals with energy infrastructure on two levels: First, it looks at exploration areas when used to look for energy raw materials (natural resources which can be used as sources of energy), focusing on oil, gas and the front end of the nuclear fuel cycle, i.e. uranium prospects and mining, and the geological aspects of the rear end, i.e. localization and prospecting sites suitable for geological repository of the decommissioned nuclear fuel. Second, it focuses on the issue of local acceptance and local oppositions. It introduces the phenomena of local opposition, its most influential reflections in social science theory, and methodological tools...

Twenty-one samples were studied by scanning electron microscopy cathodoluminescence (CL) imagining, CL emission spectra and trace elements were measured on six selected samples. Four quartz growth generations Q1 to Q4 were described. Homogeneous early blue CL Q1 with initial emission spectra at 380 and 500 nm was observed at the Čelina deposit with typical titanium concentrations in the range of 20–50 ppm. Hydrothermal quartz at Mokrsko-West, which also includes early Q1, late subhedral faces of yellow CL Q2, and microfissures of greenish CL Q3 (both 570 nm), is characterized by titanium depletion. The titanium concentration is comparable to previous studies of crystallization temperatures proving titanium concentration in quartz as a good geothermal indicator. Q4, developed in microfissures only at Čelina, has no visual CL effect. Mokrsko-West is sp...
