Below here are 3 of Kroft's videos on Alien: Romulus which I haven't watched yet (even now as I'm typing this) because it wasn't until today I went to see it at a theater; site I get stuff from doesn't have any of the Alien series or the AvP series... though it does have all of the Predator series.
Go figure!
I may write up my own review on it, but mostly I did want to comment on a particular aspect of the Alien series which I noted during this one. Xenos tend to have smooth heads in films where there's only 1 of them and ridged heads when there's multiples of them.
· Alien - 1, smooth head
· Aliens - MANY, ridged heads
· Alien 3 - 1... at a time, xeno queen still inside Ripley doesn't count
· Alien Resurrection - MANY, ridged heads
Alien: Romulus... both.
I never got a clear view of the xenos on the derelict, think they had ridged heads but I'm not sure... but the one which was born in the ship which was evacuating and separated from the derelict, it had a smooth head.
Still think that means something, just not sure what.
