FediMeteo is an innovative project that delivers local weather updates directly to the Fediverse. Every Maltese location has a dedicated account that regularly shares current weather conditions and forecasts.

Technical Details

FediMeteo uses Open-Meteo for accurate weather data and automatically publishes updates to the Fediverse. Our system ensures that each location receives unique weather updates in a timely manner.

Thanks to snac, a lightweight yet powerful social platform compatible with the ActivityPub protocol (popularised by Mastodon), you can follow the weather for any location through its account on any instance, via RSS feed, or directly on the location's webpage.

This project is powered by Python scripts and open Fediverse standards, ensuring seamless integration for users.
