Day One [Automattic] / Engineer, Architect, & Team Lead
- Lead each of the engineering teams in turns
- Pushed the boundaries of what's possible with AI Journaling while keeping data as private as possible
- Managed all operations for server and database, constructing a stack based on AWS that could be monitored and managed by a small team
- Architected and executed a full re-write of the back-end over a period of three years, including changing databases
- Front-end architecture and development for Day One's Web client and internal admin tools
2014 – 2016
Kuali / Software Engineer
- One of four initial engineers on Kuali's Curriculum Management product
- Programming and architecture on the front-end using React and back-end in Node.js
- Early exploration on Flow's dynamic type layer over Javascript, and early contributor to Flow's type definition library

Space Monkey / Frontend Web Engineer
Did front-end and web development for Space Monkey, including maintaining and developing its web client for file management.

Internship in film production, rendered 96 shots on the film "Cars 2", and developed python scripts to facilitate the rendering production pipeline.
