pletion of fossil fuel reserves and threats on climate change makes it essential for searching alternative
energy sources. Renewable energy can play a vital role in this regard. In this paper, the availability of solar
energy in Bangladesh and the prospects of solar photovoltaic based power generation is discussed and
compared with power generation from different forms of available energy sources. It is expected that solar
PV, because of its flexibility and trends of cost reduction, will be the largest contributor on the overall share
of renewables by 2050. This paper finds how to utilize the full potential of PV technology to improve the
quality of life. It also highlights the role of government and non-government organizations, government
policies and PV module manufacturers in contributing to the total power generation in Bangladesh. Some
social, economic and environmental impediments regarding the implementation of PV technology are
discussed and the possible measures to be taken have been proposed.

In this vehicle, solar energy powers all or part of a vehicle's propulsion. For running a model car or toy car which is a miniature representation of an automobile, electric power is needed to run the car. As there lies shortage of electric power in Southeast Asian country, it has become a vital issue to initiate the use of renewable energy in developing countries like Bangladesh for reducing the demand of electricity. This paper deals with an attempt to investigate the energy recovery possibilities from the solar energy by using a solar panel which converts light energy from the sun into electrical power. That power is transmitted to the storage battery. The stored power of battery is used to run the car. Speed to weight ratio of toy car illustrates comparatively more flexible and simple than any other design when load is varying. Aerodynamic drag, weight, and rolling resistance all influence the car's design. Due to its simplicity and less bulkiness this design also reflects cost effectiveness and user friendliness.

The proposed notice board is a multiuser password-protected SMS-based system fabricated with an LCD. The communication and information transfer between the authentic user and the LCD display unit is done via GSM to ensure remote display facilities, so any notice can be displayed on the electronic board from the user's mobile SMS from distant places. To ensure system flexibility, a multiuser noticing and displaying system has been implemented in the system which can display several notices simultaneously. In addition, the user also can print any notice which is of concern to them. The total system is designed with simple logic with a robust algorithm and fabricated with a PIC midrange microcontroller, LCD, GSM module and other commercially available electronic devices to ensure efficiency and reliability with less cost.

Traditional energy source reliance is a prima challenge for ameliorating the performance of their energy suppliers to benefit energy consumers. Hydrocarbons are already used a great deal as an energy source and they also harshly criticized because oil and gas are expensive. Consequently some developing countries are trying to cope up the challenge by considering the nuclear energy in their power production. Nuclear energy is the only non-greenhouse gas-emitting reliable and safe base load power source that can effectively replace fossil fuels and satisfy growing demands for energy. The average cost of producing nuclear energy comparing with coal and gas is quite low but sometimes takes cumbersome steps to establish the nuclear power plant. So this paper emphasizes on the supersede of conventional energy with nuclear power and the roadmap for the developing countries like Bangladesh to establish the nuclear power plant.

In order to surpass under water she must obey some ground laws specially Archimedes principle with taking consideration of its flexible and economic structure and propulsion systems design. The main purpose of this research is to design and fabricate a prototype submarine to make experimentally available. The need for economic innovative design to ensure smart structure, propulsion, diving system and efficient power system has focused in the implemented prototype. The propulsion and power systems are provided by motor and battery. Depth rating comparison with other resplendent submarine makes the prototype unique in some cases. To submerge hydrostatically this research on designing basically implies Archimedes principle and buoyancy force, where negative buoyancy exerted either by increasing its own weight or decreasing its displacement of water.

These motors have to endure and cope with a wide variety of environments and conditions, so with time gradually developing (incipient) faults build up. If the fault is not trace out in embryonic state, it leads degradation which eventually causes potential failure of the motors and huge economic loss in industry. Around two fifth incipient faults happen due to stator faults caused by mainly failure of inter-turn insulation. So this paper proposed an innovative idea to detect induction motor stator's inter-turn short circuit fault using noninvasive heuristic approach by Artificial Neural Network (ANN). In this fault detection research, a 0.5 hp, single phase 50Hz induction motor at no load condition is used as an experimental prototype. Generalized Feed forward neural network is used as NN with Levenberg Marquardt gradient descend algorithm for training. Three input parameters (motor current, supply voltage and rotor speed) develop the feature space of NN to detect whether the motor is faulty or not by analyzing performance function. By the experiment, the proposed system is found more efficient, reliable, economical and smart than the existing system.

The system is designed for three different freighter load levels; no load, optimal load and over load. At initial level it remains in no load status, when load increases and still remain in optimal level then the system notify crews to initiate voyage. If the load increases to over load level then the system gives alarm and sends alert message to the main control tower for necessary initiative. The communication between the vessel and main control tower is done by GSM module to ensure long distance reliable communication. For amenity, freighter fuel level is monitored in both analogue and digital scale. The system is implemented by PIC midrange microcontroller based hardware and low cost GSM module which makes it more economic, reliable and efficient.

Researchers in all disciplines have a particular obligation of development which is environmentally friendly and lead towards sustainable future development. Solar energy is a prodigious renewable energy source which has enormous energy existing as heat and light and can convert it into electricity. Besides the domestic uses, solar power can be utilized as the alternative of the oil in boat's fuel and capable of minimizing the water pollution and fuel cost as well. The purpose of this research is to design and fabricate a boat based on solar power. The boat will be conducted by the energy processed from solar by minimizing environmental pollution and fuel cost. Besides, for any cloudy or emergency condition, a backup power system integrated with the photovoltaic cell will drive the boat to make the system more secured. Both mechanical and electrical part of the boat has been designed which is found more reliable, efficient and economic.
