Some of the challenges met when working with data from electronic health records.
I’m Portuguese, grew up in the Azores, was an undergrad at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, received a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, medical imaging and Neuroscience, and worked in different institutions in Portugal and China before I joined the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, where I pursued my DPhil in the Biomedical Signal Processing & e-Health group.
After graduation, I started a postdoc in the University of Oxford, with a focus on computational health informatics and machine learning.
