Creating New Email Automation: General Tab #

When creating a new automation, the General Tab is the first section you will encounter. This tab allows you to configure the basic settings for your automated emails. Follow these steps to set up your automation effectively.

 

Accessing the General Tab #

Navigate to the Email Automation section and click on New Automation to open the general settings for a new email marketing automation.

 

 

Configuring Automation Settings #

 

 

  1. Name: Enter a descriptive name for your automation (e.g., “Email Automation for Low Stock”).
  2. Sender’s Name: Specify the name that will appear as the sender in the emails (e.g., “MoreConvert”).
  3. Sender’s Email Address: Enter the email address from which the automation emails will be sent.
  4. Specific to a Waitlist: Indicate if this automation is for a specific waitlist (e.g., “On Sale,” “Back in Stock,” “Low Stock,” or “Price Change”).
    • If you select a specific waitlist, the option to activate the automation will disappear, and the automation status will automatically be set to active.
  1. Active State: If the automation is created with specific conditions, it will start in an active state.
  2. Paused State: If the condition option is not activated, the automation will remain paused until manually activated.
