Same standing in Bree. Making Host of the West crafting factions items. Then my alt would just exchange them to reputation, i.e. Lotro points.

Absolutely no wish to do anything. Everything feels boring, uninteresting. Go, quest in Lhingris even if I know how would everythign turn up. Receive trashable rewards. Receive little xp. Move to next quest hub.

It’s burning out and no ideas how to fight it. One kind player told I need new class. Maybe i do, but gosh, I tried every class that suits me. Champion, Minstrel, Hunter, Loremaster. Was trying Runekeeper, but to no results.

My ideal class is ranged one. Doesn’t matter if it glass cannon: just nuke them before they reach me.  Runekeeper could be nice, but it is not that fast to level. Warden is super-complicated, absolutely not for me.

Kind playe suggested Captain class. Interesting suggestion. Captain has pets, so could command them. At the other hand, it is melee. I could try one day.

Nothing happens. I try to talk to players, yet I got zero regular visitors. People need things I despise: prisons (99% are without escape or escape is through hacking only) and PvP. Maybe I should increase number of villages and towns? No idea.

 

And so my days go in complete burn-out. Solution is needed.

It looks like developers used all their imagination on first two Mordor regions. There are so many interesting things here. And then there comes Talath Urui – region where absolutely nothing interesting happens. Tale of Urudani is too short. Rest is just blah-blah. Go to Orc camp, make sure they fight each other. Make to other Orc camp, fight for the glory and fame of one Goblin. Then go to other camp where map is of zero use. Explore Nargroth, where map never helped. Go to Naebrand with similar maze structure. Explore few other camps, region finished.
Lhingris is a bit better. I mean, you follow Shelob, then this unlucky Silent Hunter and that’s it. I was fortunate to be over-levelled, so monsters did not bother me.

Agarnaith is probably the last region worth attention.  Story of Lady Lhaereth, nice audio journal (even if Viznak is there).

But Mordor is not a problem. Real problem is me being burned out again. I know what I am expected to do and I have zero wish to run same content again and again and again.

Socialization is just random, Entire one time asked to run one instance by kinnie. Other than that – maybe 2 or 3 talks. Nothing more. Seems like I really miss socialization, but it is impossible in Lotro.

But first of all – the very fact that I got Covid-19. Again. Two days of really bad situation: fever, little sleep etc. Only yesterday things got better. So – yeah, “thanks” to virus, two days offline.

Meanwhile I finished Dor Amarth slayer deed, farming poor Orc camp several times. Also finished Rare chests of Dor Amarth deed.

It was time to move and I chose fire plains of Talath Urui. Unfortunately, this region starts poorly: you have to run into famous divided camp. Yes, North camp hates South, while South hates North, so you run in circles killing everything untill both sides realise you played them. Also, navigation: in Talath Urui map sometimes is of zero help. Story of Urudani is interesting one. Audio journal of some half-crazed Orc is not so. They’d better made journal of Urudani or some aid to Borangos.

But there is no time to lose, I started Talath Urui and I will finish it. Hopefully, things will get better with “my” Covid.

I had some really, really boring time. had to grind some 2,5 levels to get to lvl.116. So it was one and same routine: turn in Gorgoroth task items; run all easy missions in Erebor; run easy missions in Elderslade; then try to finish some exploration deeds in Udun.

These days paid off: finally, many deeds in Udun are finished. Finally, I am level 116. Which meant visiting tracery room in Rivendell. And investing heavily into these new traceries. I used almost all spare Runes of enhancement – and yet did not manage to fully upgrade both LIs.

At level 115 I finally could use better armour. So my Loremaster, even if half-upgraded, looks nice. 3-4 hits and enemy is dead.

And I am finally in Dor Amarth. A land where tragic story of Stoutaxes unfold. And land where famous Barad-Dur stands. Looks like our developers deployed so many stories in Mordor, that you may get lost. This is interesting, that is too, this story unfolds and that story too.

Finally, my pats is clear once again: untill level 121 – Mordor (Dor Amarth + Agarnaith or Lhingris?). Do absolutely all quests, try to finish absolutely all deeds. Once again, pleasure in reading stories. Mordor – no matter how strange it sounds – is refreshing.

After all, later we would have grumpy new Mirkwood and boring “Khazhghrtzzz ghghrttzezhzh khzhdhzhrt 0/15” Dwarf content, where you skip most of quest texts. yeah yeah, run to NPC, talk, accept, finish.

From bad news: SSG is preparing to nerf Champion and Hunter. Heavy nerf for Beornings is planned. Of course, no nerf for so much beloved Brawlers and Mariners. Soon they will become so powerfull that would kill all mobs in raid, while being without armour and weapons – and suffer no damage.

And so my adventures continue. I hope future in Mordor is relatively bright
