New Update is here, so we have to retrait all of our toons. Zharaza and Stormsong did so. Alt-tabbing all the time. Then – receiving presents – ones we got for levelling. Usefull for experience and deed acceleration tomes, have to admit.

And then it was Felegoth, those boring quests from Radagast. Go there, locate that – all in total darkness – return, then go here and locate these (in total darkness). After I finished these – finally letter from Dale queen. Nothern strongholds deed to run 100 quests was finally started.

Unfortunately, it was from Elves only, quests of yesterday – so I skipped them. Dwarves and Men are priority. Elves may and will wait, their reputation is for taskboard only.

Side note: new LI track is there with 2 Black keys as rewards. I do need to grind as many xp as possible as soon as possible. Zharaza must run dailies in Nothern strongholds, then – missions; Stormsong must run missions, all easy ones.

In Bree, there was a show: two Nazguls (Witch-kings), then met one Mordirith near fountain. It would be good to get more Nazguls, Mordiriths and parade them in Bree. It’s high time to rule this Middle Earth by one strong, iron hand…

Mordor almost finished on Zharaza – I am having fun in North strongholds. Deeds are mostly done, local stories listened to, especially – Karazgar the unlucky. Elven part of this land is really boring and uninteresting.

What remains, is one simple grindy “Restoring the North” deed. First, run boring, long quests for Radagast. Then, do 8 dailies a day and run so untill you finish 100 quests. Only after that all deeds would be done.

Zharaza finally reached top reputation with Host of West crafting factions! Now – up to Celebrated repuation with Host of the West.

Meanwhile Stormsong helped to advance LI reward track. I reached level 100, even if it was bit…disappointing. Mystery box with only 50 Ancient script. Not worth the effort.

Minecraft classic

I know, it’s not mmo, but currently it is something I am into. Crafting my own world, from simple hut to 2-store building, then – some huge temple, followed by wooden building with balcony, then pyramid nearby and distant fortress to safeguard my possesions. It is pure joy to craft without fear. No levels, no killings, no deeds, no “must do or it vanishes”.

I wish there was some minecraft-clone. Free to play, PvE (or zero combat) and preferably – no jerks who could destroy my building out of “fun”.

Because, you know, Barad-dur tower won’t build itself. Some braver hero is needed…

Lord of the rings online

Mordor dailies are almost done, only Lhingris remaining. So, Zharaza slowly started doing Eryn Lasgalen/Dale quests. Elven part is the worst: every inch in forest is dark and grumpy, map of almost no use, all colours are black sky, black trees, black earth, black river, dark surroundings and occasional pairs of red eyes of something. Monsters are dark too.

I took Black book quests that made me running through Elf lands, then to Lake town. Always seeing evils and tracks of Karazgar, the Weeping warrior. Once again, my favourite – detective – part in Lake town.

And then – political message in Dale: “poor” refugees,. who are accidentally armed with swords, then know how to fight. Yes, typicall refugees…in fact, combatants in disguise. But of course, they are good, for they are refugees. Not too subtle propaganda there. Anyway, quests you require, quests I do.

Politics aside – Dale lands was a bit of fresh breath for me. Experience flows, Legendary item track advances and I start discovering stories. Like those from “refugees”, how they depict fall of Sauron. Mostly interesting, like “And then Red King met with White Wizard”, with Red King [Sauron] striking, yet White wizard surviving and causing all Red King and His army to vanish, because Earth opened.

Kinship had Dragoich raid. Just – just because I asked for a raid. We organized, accepted 2 players from outside, then ran. Start was terrible, me dying maybe 5-6 times in a row. I go, there are no lights, no sounds…and out of sudden, I am killed. Finally we reached, one Champion tanked, we nuked. Raid was over and very quickly.
Dragoich the Red is made very, very good. Surroundings, Dragon animation, text, voice-over – everything is like top quality. You can feel that Dragon, you are surprised by him, you amy understand his (evil) thoughts. I really got impressed.

Right now, I am in Dale lands, mostly skipping quest texts, yet preparing to read every Dwarven quest text. And thinking about new Raid, since my Kinship is able to quickly organize and finishe them.
