My valared Stout-axe continues his journey. I started with epic, talking with Strider, taking down Blackwolds with Hobbits, then moving to the border of Shire, looking for other riders. Poor Amdir was dealth with, for he became Cargul.

I quested in Old Forest. Had to make controversial decisions to kill bears (but hey, I am from bad Mordor, I may be bad…) – decision, my Beorning would surely disapprove. Yes, took some quests from local Hobbits: place lamps, kill bears and boars, then collect mushrooms, kill bears and boars, kill wolves… I killed almost every spider en route, so spider slayer deed advanced quickly.

Then it was Adso camp, had to deal with brigands which helped with slayer deed too. Then, back to Bree,, talk with Mayor (who redirected to Trestlebridge).

Number of quests does not shrink, since I do not do “Introduction to…” ones. And yes, try to do everything in landscape before moving to another region. Right now, Shire awaits me (after Bree land is done). After Shire – possible Sarnur, to reach Kindred with Thorins hall.

Still there are so many deeds in Bree to do. Slayer deed, exploration deed, Kindred with Bree locals… Shire would take really long, only because of too many quests.

But it is good to have that many things to do and Lotro points to earn. Life is really busy once again.

First of all: kudos to developers for compensating lost items! I got my valars, carry-all and much more. Thanks a lot!

And then my Stoutaxe hunter, “Zharaza” used all Valar packages. First one leveled me to lvl.105, brought to the Camp of the Host, gave armour, mounts, warsteed skills. Also, I managed to skip some class and regional quests. Result: 90 Lotro points earned and less headache. Second Valar grew me up to lvl.120 and transported to Beorninghus. I got some quality equipment (armour, jewellery, off-hand weapon) as well.

And then there was a flow of introduction quests. Ended up in 23/41 quests. I did not know where to go to, so decided to run epic quests first. Took some Hobbit quests to scout Old forest as well. Still feel uneasy when asked to kill Bears: what would my Beorning say? But hey, I am Stout-axe, I am half-bad, so it could be allowed for this toon only.

I was overwhelmed. So much to do, so many places to visit…and so little space for quests, and so little time to do it all. Feeling lost, because of that much to do.

Still – yes, I will do my quests, grind reputation and xp only to end in Beorninghus and stop righ here.

Days are becoming really interesting and busy in Lotro.

Our festival goes on. I tried to do all Eriador scavenger things, went up to year 7…and then stopped. Not going into details (would be wall of text) – but details were very confusing, I could not find any remembrances in certain location. Zero of them, no matter how I ride, what I do. Only much later I realised I mis-read.
But it was too late, if I deem quest impossible, it is impossible, no matter what. Quest cancelled. I know, being stubborn is not always good, but it’s the way I live.

Zantipe moved to Bree, to do local quests and get some xp (around 100,000 xp each quest, quite good). Bartered tri-coloured Corgi, since corgis are cute.

My Stout-axe with proud title “Of Mordor” – Zharaza – continues his questing. Valared toon, so I had to do some Moria stuff, get Legendary item…and then return to Thorins hall. Did almost all quests, even if some were too much of running. Started turning in taskboard items: no xp, but quicker reputation. Right now, almost all Dwarf quests and deeds are done, Elf part remains.

What I am missing – some special attitude to Stout-axe from other Dwarves. Other than intro, there is nothing special in attitude, quests…like I was normal Longbeard. But I am kind of outcast, almost unknown to Longbeards, who still fights for freedom.

Stormsong tried to aid one Youtube user who started his adventures as Minstrel. Offered help, only to receive answer that…that I owe him 50 copper to write this mail. Weird answer, have to say and 50 copper are not that much.

And so questing in Lotro continues, quite interesting one.

It’s fifteenth anniversary of our beloved game. It’s also Update 33: we got everything up to Gondor for free; certain classes are also for free. No, new Shire and Angle are not free, Stout-Axes are not too. To make things even better, we got tons of presents.
To name just some: title “Walked into Mordor”, 3 Valar packs (50, 105, 120), Elderslade boar mount, small carryal, reputation tome, sets of cosmetics armour, mounts, pets…Great many of them, really generous from SSG.

Stormsong, no doubt, used Mordor box and proudly took title “Walked into Mordor”. Yes, it does fit my toon, the new Mouth of Mordor (unlike that noob, Dulgabeth).

Because of such kind presents, population peaked, servers almost crashing and Runekeepers seeing something wrong with their ratchels. Result – servers off for at least a day. Solution was not found, so everything was rolled back to pre-crash state.

My Valars and Carry-all, Mordor box – all disappeared from Shared vault. As a result, I got some rewards second time. Developers promised to look into a problem and solve it. I would really use these Valars to level up some toon; if they would disappear – no drama (hey, at least I have one lvl.50 package, so can jet-level any new toon!).

We also have lots of new rewards. Each toon receiveda a nice corgi dog. We may also barter for 3-coloured corgi (30 tokens) and many, many other things. Would have to check exact list and appearance.

And Zantipe started journey with all these “Year … card” at Party tree. Finished all things on Year 1 (“Eriador” level, easier ones), will try to do all others. Taking up every single reward, just to have those pets and dyes.

Yes, downtime may be disappointing, but it’s no tragedy. I have dedication to finish everything possible on Zantipe, to grind tokens and enjoy Anniversary.

Since this is blog meant to contain short stories: Zantipe continued questing and focused on deeds. Killed some monsters in Angmar, then rode to Evendim, did some slayer deeds here. All for the sake of increasing Virtues.

Then I went to Dale lands, helped one lady to defeat armoured shadows…and ran into quest arc “The lay of rust and rime”. Great many quests, mostly DHL ones: go to Erebor to speak with the King; King redirects to Felegoth; Felegoth redirects to Dale and Dale – to Erebor. Probably the only one remarkable quest – how King Thorin III speaks with the raven.

I did my best and within one day, almost all Karazgar’s quests were done. Few remains, all (kind of) easy to finish…and then I will forget this story for good.

Which leads to another topic: my Beorning. I am really unsatisfied with how it performs. Beaten by almost all on-level Mission monsters, killed by same three Orcs group – twice, bear form or not. Trait tree setup does not help much. I had my custom, then retraited after Lotrohq – still same beating. Absolutely no improvement.

Equipment: a mix of low level little-usable to barterable for motes and usable. Almost no essences, since no normal way to get them and outgrowing them.

And almost no real help from others. Getting grumpy, because Beorning must be strong and almost unbeatable. Mine is weak and easily beatable: somewhere I make mistakes, just can’t see where and how to solve.

Zantipe turned in taskboard items. Ran 2 missions, rest cancelled – too difficult, defeat is guaranteed. That ended my daily chores.

Then I was lucky to aid kinnie with same slappable Naruhel. We ran, made some screenshots, joked a lot. Yes, it’s all about relations. Me trying to date Naruhel and our date turning disastrous. What could possibly go wrong? The fact there was threesome (me, kinnie, Naruhel?). But hey, in Lotro you can even have a raid with one monster! Or – what I suspect – that kinnie dated Amarthiel. Both ladies, both in seductive red. Just Naruhel got slapped alot – Amarthiel didn’t.

Other than that – nothing new. I do need to grind my way (slowly slowly…) to at least lvl.135-136. Then start of Minas Morgul would be safe to explore.

The day has ended, end of womanizing and continuing task grind.

Zantipe quested. Running in Imlad Morgul, killing, completing deeds. Of course, using taskboard to get more reputation and xp. Reached enough reputation to barter “Return to Estolad Lan”.

And then I stopped. Quests required me to go to Minas Morgul – not safe place before lvl.140. So I just stopped.

Helped kinnie with “Boss from the Vault: Naruhel”. We enjoyed using /slap emote on Naruhel, so most of free time there was pure slapping. Well, Spring festival ends today, so no more slapping of poor Red Maid.
Then, ran some Missions. Too little missions, too little xp. Yet, I must run them to get more levels. Boring, I know. The only thing are taskboard items: these help gaining reputation with Gundabad.

In World chat sometimes we joked or engaged in light roleplay. Of course, when folks do not talk politics. Ukraine is an open wound with Russia behaving like Orcs. They are all orcs, doomed to be cursed untill the end of Mordor for they have no brain or soul. Yet – not discussing this in chats. Let me relax with goblin-hater Zantipe or Mouth of Mordor – Stormsong.
