Zantipe spent entire evening runnin in circles. Kill Zhavar-hai, kill gredbyg, repeat. After some running – all but Orcs were killed. Orcs were most boring. One little camp, so you run in circles killing unlucky green creatures.

And soon it was done, Lhingris slayer deed complete, lvl.106 runes thrown, Lotro points granted. Hurray!

I teleported home and used Cracked lances to gain reputation with Great Alliance. Did three Naruhel (lvl.50) runs with kinnie. And then daily grind was over.

One kinnie was very nice to get me Purple dye recipe on Auction house. Normally it would require big grind – and now, my Stormsong could craft purple dyes for everyone who needs.

Lhingris grind is mostly done. I can rest a bit and then (probably) grind Great Alliance deeds. The day has been succesfull in Lotro.

My dating life in Lotro does not go well. Dating morrovals – fail, we always end in fight. Now – dating miss Naruhel, dressed in attractive red. Fight, then (at tier 3 dating) – she killed my kinnie, then summoned an army, got some buffs and killed my Beorning.

Just why? You come to date, got attacked and killed. Not fair. Ok, if seriously – it was weird to be killed, have to figure out what exactly happened.

Meanwhile Zantipe finished quests in Lhingris, faced Ms. Shelob, found last page of Lost lore: Lhingris book and now has to finish slayer deeds. Kala-Murg would be really nice. After Lhingris – sorry, no ideas what to do next. Grind missions?

Of course, Great Alliance reputation grind goes on. Every item counts. Later I would probably go for Gundabad, White alliance reputations.

Side note: finally reached legendary reward track end, received same coffer with 50 scripts – twice. It’s ok, just expected end result to be much, much better.

Day ended, almost good one in Lotro.

Zantipe quested in Mordor besieged, land of Great Alliance. Did all quests, sometimes being too close to limit (50). All this was boring, yet quick. Experience is of no importance, rewards are always trashable – it is reputation that counts. Yes, I use all my taskboard items for reputation (Great alliance reputation is by repeatable quests and taskboard only), for reputation means Lotro points.

Right now, I have just few quests to do for deed and find one cursed Rare chest, plus some enemies to kill, but these are easy ones.

I accidentally teleported to Dor Amarth, took quest redirection to Lhingris. And here Mr. Legolas was directing me. I was exploring, killing Orcs and spiders, finally – killing Silent One, some elite Orc assasin, assuming his identity and confronting Shelob.

It was a kind of pleasure to slap Orcs, kill spiders (just because I want to) and “look” for Elf warrior. After that, things got bit boring and quests are not over yet. Fighting Shelob would take looong.

In Lotro, time almost stopped for me. Need lvl.140 to safely quest in many regions. Grind reputation and deeds. And then, probably, just grind Missions.

My daily routine (stand near taskboard – turn in 10 times – log off) was interrupted. Decided to visit this grumpy Azanul-nonsense region. As most Dwarf regions, it has almost everything unpronouncable. Like “visit Azharbhushthormhufthrashghugh, speak to Aghaghtrpwth, then – Bhughythk 0/5”.
I turned in local task items. Did Dwarf camp exploration deed. And by mistake took some quests.

The mistake, have to say.

Most roads are blocked with heavily fortified camps. Almost any road swarms with groups of orcs, goblins, trolls. Camps are impossible to sneak in or just find how to evade camp. Monsters are too strong, always in groups with melee and ranged enemies. Yes, they also spaw too quickly.

First, I was lucky group of two lvl.140s did their quests and cleared my way. Then, they moved on, I was alone and killed every time I went to fight. Unable to out-dps, out-heal or even out-run.

Azanul-nonsense should be done at lvl.140 only.

Abandoned it, now I will just grind my way to lvl.140 in Missions. I have xp accelerators, I have my kinnies – so must wait for safe level. And then…oh yes, then Minas Morgul (all grey) and Azanul-nonsense (all grey).

Developers announced info about incoming Update: Minstrel’s self-defense bauble, the only viable, is reduced by some 75%. Dps on one or two skills are increased by entire 10%. Why don’t they just delete Minstrel as class? Minstrel’s dps is close to zero, self-defense would be close to zero…why nerf when you can delete it as class, give some token to pick any other class and nerf is finally done?

The day ended, bit grumpy in Lotro. A sense of emptyness that would end at lvl.140 only.

Zantipe finally finished Sundergrot quest chain. Asked for Kinship help, just to make it quick. One kind lvl.140 Champion shing-shinged everything, adviced, so we were really quick. Dispose of 1 bomb, locate bridge, dispose of 2 bombs, return to surface.

Then it was assault on Goblins, travel to Ered Mithrin, ambush on the road with me being killed, once again ambush – this time victory. Few travels here and there – quest chain was done, Introduction to Elderslade quest was done.

I was free to turn in task items (Langflood + Elderslade) and just relax. Kinship help was really needed.

Now it is time to turn in taskboard items over and over. Maybe, run missions to get more levels. Main rush is done. Elderslade can wait untill lvl.140.

And yeah, Goblin/Orc slayer (advanced) in Langflood is finally finished. Yay. Days are bright once again in Lotro.

We finally have developers’ letter and it is full of good news. First – regions up to Gondor would be free for all. Then, some races (Beorning, High Elf) are unlocked for all. Finally, VIPs get expansions up to Gundabad for free!

Kudos to our developers who made first wise steps. Players are happy. Feedback on mmo-review sites is mostly positive. Happy player – a player who is more willing to pay cash. More cash, better future for Lotro. Bravo, my dear developers! Just do be wise and take one more wise step: make all content, expansions or not, free for VIPs. VIPs do deserve it.

Our Kinship lost one member, really active and kind one. He left for some raiding Kinship. Good for them, they get quality active member. Bit bad for us, we are losing one.

And my Zantipe finally finished Dwarf markers in Wells of Langflood deed, then – Goblin/Orc slayer and beast slayer (advanced). Now just to kill 240 more Goblins…and finish Sundergrot. I went here, yet situation sometimes is tough. My Beorning in Human form is not able of quality AoE attacks + too little healing skills. Now I am 2 quests short of quest chain – after that may leave Sundergrot for good.

Questing aside, my Beorning now uses taskboard items, mostly Elderslade. Will use every item I could, will try to max every reputation.

Stormsong made good jokes about Mordor currency – soon other players interfered and we had laugh all the time. Of course, Isengard was mentioned as probably most stable economy; and Bank of Isengard as most safe (since all coins are really safe in flooded dephts….). World chat can be so cool and refreshing sometimes…

And so weekend has ended, kind of really good in Lotro.

March 8th, International Woman’s Day, I was tested Covid positive. Had some 10 days of forced isolation, some 2 days – with really bad health. After that, I just had plenty of time to play.

And here is where Zantipe ran. I almost finished Vales of Anduin deeds. Travelled to Wells of Langflood, stopping to kill almost every goblin and warg. Great many deeds were finished there. Then – Elderslade, where I stopped my questing.

I took my time to actually read quests’ texts. Experienced what Leothred, Rohirric Scholar, wanted to tell, from begining to the birth of Eorlingas…and story of beautifull mearh. It was something – something really “wow!”. Once again, I aided my fellow Beornings, avenging the death of one of them.

While reputation with the Vales is no problem – Wells of Langflood reputation is. Taskboard items – almost none drops, except for Sinister wings from bats. And trust me, you may be forced to grind for really, really long time.

Exploration of Wells is problematic. Too many places where map is not to be trusted, sometimes – too many enemies. In no way do I object facing many enemies – just sometimes there are way too many to handle, they spawn too quickly, so that there may be absolutely no safe spot.

Right now, my lvl.129 Beorning is just parked in Bree homesteads, turning in task items for Wells and then – for Elderslade. There, with task items, will I grind my level 130 and then barter Wells armour.

Other than non-stopping questing, managed to aid few players. My Stormsong aided with note “want 500 Mordor platinium coins, just make sure these are minted by Sauron, not this pesky Dulgabeth…”. Had some good laugh with player who received request for such…payment.

My questing goes well, equipment being the only problem (lack of proper one; too many wrong ones). Soon, I will be lvl.130 with new shiny armour.

Despite evil Covid, life goes on.

Yesterday was one year anniversary of our Kinship. We gathered at our lovely Kin house, that good warm Hobbit style. Many of us, then some friends from other Kinships. We joked, talked, launched fireworks, famous Ranatuor played music and we danced, then had some toasts and lots of jokes.

Of course, my Minstrel drank. All the time. After all, sober Minstrel is not good Minstrel. How would he sing or create songs for some dignitaries/kings? So I /drank and /drank, for kinnies to ask how could I drink that much. Oh dear, you were lucky I did not use your beer kegs inside Kin house…

Anniversary – modest one – was really nice. We had such warm, inviting atmosphere.

Out of anniversary – Zantipe took many quests in Agarnaith, domain of Lady Lhaereth. Explore this, kill these, climb there… By the way, climbed all towers in Uruk camp. And by the way, killed many infected animals so that only Advanced deed remain. Had to meet local Wildmen, aid them and assault Uruk camp. Red Sky clan, grumpy and useless one…

Epic quest redirected me to Gandalf (again!), then – to Minas Tirith after battle. Now it would be some running forwards and backwards, only to see “Union of evil”. But thid aside – I will do quests in my Agarnaith. Most of them are doable (except Infected orcs), exploration is kind of doable and killing enemies is not a problem.

And so, the day was not sober, yet great. Hope for more beer and adventures in Lotro. Or maybe just more beer. Cheers!

…or rather, OFFline. Yesterday all day, up to midnight, in Europe was without Lotro. Just because they havd to remove 1 or 2 old travel routes with elks and make minor changes to raid. Some 8 hours, entire day and nobody from developer side cares.

Which left me without Lotro, just talking on Discord. No deeds done, no xp/LP earned – nothing.

Let us hope today game will be online and I would be able to celebrate Kinship anniversary with my kinnies.
