An empty days. Gundabad is overpriced way too much, just like Mordor. I cannot purchase it and when/if it would released for Lotro points, it would be obsolete. Seems like the only solution is to wait for discount, no matter when it comes. Truth to be told, nobody knows if it would happen: official statements are nothing more than propaganda.

/World was so disappointing. Somebody got upset by Stormsong’s talk about Mordor. You know, that great land of freedom and equal opportunities, ruled by loyalty and wisdom and no doubt, known for its Warg-philosophers +book-reading Orc society… I got some angry talks, then went into IM. Well, it wasn’t my intention to upset anybody, never was. I also received some harsh words about overpriced content. Yes, not going to buy because it is overpriced at some 50%. Then I receive “work more”, “you pay more for cinema ticket”. It’s not about cinema, dear friends, it’s about overpricing. If burger is worth 2 dollars and you are asked 22 – and you may afford 22$ – you may ask “is this burger worth 22 $”.

There was also nuo Featured Instance/School runs. Hultvis dailies were on cooldown, so I just wasted one.

Forums report that SSG treats all Legendary items almost equally. There is just a tiny difference between fully-maxed lvl.100 imbued firsdt age LI and lvl.27 non-imbued third age LI. Yet another wrong approach, so typical for SSG.

I feel saddened. Game developers are really bad. Non-whales are treated like trash. Content is heavily overpriced and there is highest delay in mmo history of deploying content for in-game tokens (LP, in this case).

Today I will do all 6 Hultvis runs. Earn my scrolls, even if they won’t matter. Then make a pause untill Sunday. And wait untill next phase of Hultvis bi-weeklies.

Feeling so sad and grumpy in Lotro. Nothing but bad news.

Zantipe did some Missions, finished one deed, chose Hero box…only to receive trash rewards. Virtue items (trash), XP tome (trash), reputation tome (trash). I keep them, maybe would ask for power-levelling and be able to use that.

Stormsong did one daily, finished, received 3 more Anfalas scrolls. Level 83, yes, but would be helpfull.

Xantipe was inactive.

Meanwhile had some really good talk on Stormsong. First – about Hobbit Appretiation day in Mordor. How all Mordor hails its citizens- Hobbitses and Sauron makes party, and Orcs go to the Shire to bring presents and even Wargs study Hobbit philosophy.

Then things went a bit another way. Someone asked about Lore behind Falconer’s tower. Of course, it is old Mordor legend. About battles there, how Lord Sauron’s army faced humans and humans were defeated. And only a small group of warriors stood. Many Orcs did they slay while Sauron watched, but eventually all group, led by one Falconer, was killed. And Sauron talked to His troops praising bravery and courage of Falconer. He ordered a tower to be built and Orc guard of honour placed, to commemorate brave and honourable enemy.

And today Hultvis bi-weeklies restart, so I could run all of these, for the sake of 9 scrolls on each toon each two days. Another day, anothe grind…

Zantipe quested peacefully, finishing remaining quests in Far Anorien. Everything was going just fine.

Untill I talked to kinnies about LI “revamp”. It is going to be almost a nightmare. Capped [yet another] currency. Four tiered runesm highest one acquired with additional currency. And currency is by doing instances only. For me it is nightmare.

Turned out I could max weapons of Stormsong. Spent almost all Merit stars for Anfalas crystals. Used many scrolls from vault. Now my Minstrel is ready for heals and dps. With other toon situation is more dramatic. Xantipe, for example, lacks 170 scrolls for bow – and lacks normal First age sword. Naktieskarys has God knows what, lacks probably everything. Vytautas hasn’t imbued his weapon yet. Beorning – well, not good too. To make things more funny, I am low even on Motes as well.

Now my peacefull questing and enjoying of landscape is over. Stormsong must grind scrolls by Hultvis dailies. Xantipe musty grind scrolls by Hultvis dailies. My Beorning would grind War of Three peaks missions to gain more levels and get some scrolls as well. Peacefull playing becomes a huige grind. Well, next week Featured instance is School of Tham Mirdain, one of my favourite instances – chance to get something there as well.

Peacefull riding and enjoying is over. Now the race against time begins.

Weekend was mostly trip to one little town with 7 lakes. Nice relaxation, glorious weather – and no online games.

Back to Lotro: Zantipe asked for power-levelling. Warg Pens, lvl.115-116, sometimes even Tier2. My little toon could just stand and loot. Result: after some 10 runs – I was finnaly level 110. Some monsters are grey now, which eases travelling. One more level, and all area is safe.

I am trying to finish as many quests as possible, running low on quest slots (43/50). After finishing all quests – well, grind deeds, including reputation. Pre-battle Osgiliath awaits then, where all monsters should be grey.

Woses are just nuissance. If you want depiction of primitive people with weird traditions and huge superstitions and almost no help to others – look at Woses. War with Sauron could go on with them or without them, they are no help as allies and almsot no threat as enemies. I do wish to end this over-boring region as soon as possible. Grind reputation, get travel skill, leave this region immediately.

Meanwhile there are many talks about LI revamp. Current system looks bit better, yet “there is devil in details”. How to get new legacies – raids only, shop only? What to do with existing Anfalas crystals and scrolls? What about quests that rewarded them (and were done for this particular reason)? And finally, what about power of new LI – would it be better dps? So far, no answers, for we get work in progress only. Let us hope for the best – that new system is easy to get and level up.

Weekend has ended, working week awaits. Woses, let me goooo….

Zantipe quested heavily. I ran out out quest slots: 50/50, so had to concentrate on finishing existing. First, it’s Minas Tirith (MT) before siege, then besieged, finally – after siege. Famous Ride of Rohirrim, even if less climatic than in movie. Eowyn’s duel with Witch King. Movie was better, but the spirit of the scene was good. Later I returned to Fell beast, to burn its body and watch as it is covered in eerie cyan flames. Really impressive.

And later it was questing in Fields of Onslaught, running for Aragorn and his captains. It was there that Aragorn makes decision to act as decoy so that Frodo completes his mission. I ran forwards and backwards, killing few Orcs, doing some other tasks.

So many dead! Whatever Ranger I knew, almost everyone is lost. Huge losses, even if MT is saved.

Right now I know I must focus on returning to Pukel men, finishing all local quests thus freeing up quest slot space. Grind my way to some lvl.111 so that monsters in pre-battle Osgiliath are grey and finish that area.

Later it would be Ithilien, infamous for Herbalism deed.

Meanwhile got invitation from Kinship to run some Tier3 instance and levelling runs. Could use all of them, on different toons.

SSG technical support proves to be really helpfull, sending instruction after instruction. And they work – after latest solution, I managed to play for ~1 hour without being disconnected. If such luck continues, it would be just perfect. And yes, if SSG won’t mess with Legendary items, I would either subscribe for 1 month or buy Gundabad. As a token of thanks, you know.

Yet LI knews are kind of bad. Bullroarer forum is full of negative feedback. Good news – you get LI, you level it, no need to kill another orc to get another deconstrutable item. Bad news – each level means reforge, there are tiered (!) runes to level up LI. So, it could be yet another store-oriented grind.

So, my dear SSG, if you want my support, do listen to playes and make LI really important and not another insane hard grind.

The day has ended, finally good in Lotro. If only I had more free quest slots…

If there is any over-boring, masochistic content after Minas ‘Lag’ Tirith – it is Far Anorien, at least phase with local Wose people. Map is of little use. If there is NPC, just 5 meters to the left, it means you have to go back, then right, then forward, then some 10 turns left-right and only after that reach your NPC. Not to worry, you get redirected to another NPC…
Wose are just primitive people. Their only use is that they kill Orcs, sometimes for inhumane reasons. Kill Orc, take his skin for drums and drum drums so that Orcs are scared. For sake of all gods – kill something just to make drums from skin!
Anyway, killed, looted, aided with some epic quests – and soon ran out of space for quests, so many of these.

Region is just dumb. No use for warsteed. If you quest on level – too many enemies that are just too strong. Map is no use, since almost all paths are not on the map. Wose culture is something very banal, very primitive, not deserving any respect.

I have to quest there. Grind reputation with Riders of Rohan. Turn in task items.

And them leave woses and their boredom for good.
