A week of vacations, so – little time for blog.

Only Stormsong and Zhantipe are active. Stormsong does Summer festival grind: take quest to do 10 quests, then run actually 10 quests, receive tokens, log off. Typically I do quests to fly kites, find crashed kites, cool patrons, defeat the heat, find some food, find some items, then redirection to fishing: fish mathoms, find some lost items and 2-3 quests in market.

Zhantipe grind Lotro points. This time many things went wrong. I forgot to craft quality armour. I forgot to equip Virtue, so ended up with lame one. I lost valuable time, so had to re-grind virtues.

Meanwhile I activated Slayer and deed acceleration tome, so – less grind in Ered Luin. Also, managed to finish some Bree slayer deeds (Neekers, Sickle flies, spiders…all in swamps).

Zhantipe remains to turn in task items and get first reputation with Thorins Hall.  Then, she may be safely deleted.

Received one invite to Kinship. Had to politely refuse. Also, got one ninja-invite which I automatically refused.

I lost count how much months am I living in silence. Long enough, but not missing anything.

And so weekend has ended, quite good one in Lotro.

We have 2 festivals joined into one. Stormsong did quests, not so succesfully: server lag sometimes was heavy. Bartered some Anfalas crystals, started daily deeds.

Birthday went un-noticed by no one in Lotro. Total silence.

Right now – grinding festival tokens God knows for what. There is lag, there are almost no friends left in Lotro and game itself is experiencing problems.

We had an Update which took longer than expected. Had some time to mobilize all Sakkras on Master of Orion 2, create a fleet with Battleships (3 mauler devices, battle pods, phasing cloak, structural analyzer), Titans (Stellar converter, battle pods, phasing cloak, structural analyzer) and wipe out everything out of the galaxy.

Then game went online. Zhantipe went alive.

Bree – swift ride to Celondim – and then farming monsters. Wolves were fast, no competition. Quests: did not take, did not care about xp or equipment. Goblins were kind of fast, then – some Hendroval + 1 Brigand.

And then…then I used all toon-bound tomes: defense, attack, xp, skill and slayer accelerator. Spiders were quick, for rest – finishing Elf ruins exploration.

Spiders finished, rushed to Kheledul docks and there finished last slayer deeds. Then exploration (2 ruins, 3 towns and 2 locations). Back to Bree, used some Cordolan trinkets. Kindred with Bree, +20 Lotro points.

Result: to Shared vault deposited 1,3 gold, some hides, some vegetables and lots of onions. Zhantipe deleted, recreated, 275 Lotro points earned.

I was quite satisfied. Next toon would have even better life: use all onions, then use slayer accelerator tome early. Mathom reputation is almost forgotten, I can rely on deeds only.

The day has ended, quite succesfull in Lotro. Not missing World or LFF chats, can live freely without them.

Zhantipe went to Shire, spending evening and today’s morning there. Sights of Shire – almost done (only Party tree remains), Farms of Shire – only 3 remains, all close to Michel Delving.

Slayer deeds went good: Wolves, Flies, Spiders – finished, Goblins – only advanced remain, Brigands – just started. Evil Slugs – not started 😦

Financial things are improving. I sell all loot, so right now have almost one gold. Spending gold on repairs and also (shame to admit!) – on buying new equipment, like swords and bows, from vendors. Also, activated “Track crops” skill – it does track every single cook item that lies on the ground: straberry bush, honey, onions…Keep collecting these, would be for crafting or for sale.

At the end of LP run, I would have (once again) enough gold to supply next toon. Pity, won’t reach kindred with Mathom society.

Cooking levels proved to be effective. One hero-farmer who would craft thousands of onion fields, then one hero who would buy thousands of onions…and hurray, cost-effective run ready.

My next stop – Ered Luin. I hope I would be better at dps’ing there. And my LP runs ends there, amongst wise and nice Dwarves.

We have Kinshop mail about raid. Sicne it’s raid, it’s not for me: Stormsong is not strong enough + raid means lag + RNG is always against me.

Zhantipe grinded levels: first, by crafting onions. Plant, harvest, make…and so untill lvl.20. Then, deposit all onions and seeds, use Bree reputation items. After that – basic Bree lenad exploration: Ruins and History of Dunedain. Started and finished Spider slayer.

Right now, started Shire. Farms of Shire, then place of shire, started Brigand slayer. I know, I know, would have to stay in the Shire for a long time…and then move for quick Ered Luin run. Still have slayer and deed accelerator, hence – could speed things up.

Zhantipe received IM asking if I would like to join a Kinship. Weird to receive such IM from one of the most well known Kinships. Answered politely that my toons are in Kinship and this one is just grinder. And I thought Kinship ads to IM were a history…

Meanwhile I will continue to grind Lotro points. Maybe one day would be very rich to get Rohan house.

Zhantipe finished her career. Used all mathoms, gift mathoms Stormsong could loot…still lack of lame 300 reputation. Had to ride to Shire, take easy quest (kill 10 bears), receive Gift Mathom and hurray – Kindred with mathoms!

Things were done, Zhantipe sold everything, deposited 1,3 gold to shared vault, was deleted and recreated.

Results: skipped most of Bree slayer deeds and still earned 320 Lotro points. Class deeds skipped completely due to restrictions on daily use. With Zhantipe number 2 – I will not make same mistakes, i.e. sticking to only one type of food and crops crafting, purchasing normal tools at once. Other toons should support too: Xantipe could craft quality Bow, Naktieskarys – swords, Ahelissa – armour. I do not have Jeweller, but it would be over-grindy to level up.

One note: mathom grind is getting really problematic, so would probably have to skip Shire reputation.

And so the day has ended, quite good in Lotro.

Zhantipe farmed Kheledul. Just ran, killing almost every single bird and Dourhand. Was bit funny to see lvl.130 Sith Runekeeper running near Thrasis lodge and killing every single hendroval. Lucky for me, Sith went somewhere further…

I finished Dwarf place exploration, got my LPs, rode to Shire and turned in last part of task items. +300 reputation, universal item, then teleported to Bree.

Advancing slayer deeds seemed not effective: would take lots of time. So I just used ~17 Cordolan trinkets and was Kindred with Bree. Managed to sell everything I had, so now I have ~1,5 gold. Good, can deposit back to Shared vault.

Farming Mathoms in Haudth Iarcith took too long. Several runs – only 5 big mathoms and several small. Would take long, but it’s worth, I guess.

Today I would calculate how many LPs did I earn on this toon. Maybe it is a rational way: cook to level 20, then basic Bree deeds, Shire exploration+slayer, Ered Luin slayer and exploration (except Rath teraig).

Master of Orion 2

My Sakkras got unlucky. Neighbourghs: Psilons, neariest colony defended by Star base, Missile base and Interceptor Garrison + some ships. I waited, bought some battleships, nuked some their colonies, stole some technologies and almost dealtt with Psylons.

Silicoids. Another neighbour, huge empire with Titan technology. Nuked some 3 colonies. Then it was their fleet, maybe 25 ship, most – Battleships with Disrupters. Two hits, my battleship was dead. I was no match. I missed zerging part: produce warships all the time, never stop and while produce – colonize everything.

Well, that means only zerging is rational. some 5 Doomstars, 20 titans and maybe 20 battleships just for support – should be enough to fight one colony.

Xantipe was the only one busy. Finished farming Goblins, then moved for Wolves. There, I met one lvl.8 Warden. He was killing wolves too. I was quicker, he initially followed me, then moved to another part and soon disappeared. Weird decision. If he was doing deeds – the only logic move would be to IM me or invite to group. No IMs, no invites.

I finished killing Wolves, so next move was – finish Elf ruins exploration (+5 Lps), discover Thrasis lodge and start farming hendroval, spiders, dourhands.

Lucky for me, no competition with spiders plus – standard mission to escort a Dwarf. This and slaying of goblins gave a me a mix of jewellery, some with absolutely wrong statuses (Will? For Hunter?), some with right ones.

I am to finish slayer deeds: spider advanced, hendroval and hendroval advanced, brigand and brigand advanced. Then – exploration of Dwarf places. Returning to Bree for some slaying or (an alternative) – just turn in Shire reputation items and wait untill Stormsong farms enough mathoms.

Crafting levels was an interesting thing. I would make my calculations. If they are not wrong – one can just craft tier 1 onions, make simple food from them and grind new levels.

The day has ended, quite good in Lotro.

Zhantipe, my LP grinder, resumed grinding. Shire exploration: done, yet with help from lotro-wiki. Started slayer and this morning Slayer of Shire was finished. Most problematic – slugs, they were too far (sometimes 1 slug within 100 meters) and too little. But they were done, finally – Goblins were done.

It was time for Ahelissa to work: a set of mediocre medium armour was crafted, sent to Zhantipe.

Then, Zhantipe resumed killing and went to Ered Luin. Started exploration deeds and Goblin + Wolf slaye deeds. Double the goblins, double the fun, so to say.

My LP grinder is not so effective, maybe because she has almost zero jewellery and vendor swords/bow. I expected to one-shot lvl.10 enemies, yet I have to fight them. However, grind goes on, I am lucky to loot crafting stuff (future xp for future toons, less gold to spend) and get some coin from loot.

I do hope to finish all I can in Ered Luin (just not Rath Teraig exploration), teleport to Bree and maybe use remaining reputation items to get Kindred with Bree. Mathom society is bit of a pain: Stormsong would have to grind for those mathoms.

And so the day has ended, quite effective and interesting in Lotro.
