FRIENDING POLICY:
Everything is locked. Long Fic can be found on the AO3, and I am "in the process" (hahahahahaha) of transferring my other fic over (double hahahahahaha) so if you're looking for something specific (especially if it was like, a comment fic, it's very possibly not there.
If there's a specific master post link that you see is broken please let me know so I can either
1. unlock the whole post (like I did the timeline), or
2. transfer it to AO3 (if it's a specific Fic...)

Okay, so, this is not (technically) a primer. This is a collection of ridiculous information that I know after being a hockey fan for 24 years, with a lot of commentary due to stuff I've noticed in fandom and is clearly biased to my favorite teams. Now with extra bias by

Oh yeah, orange is my comments.
Anyway! This is kind of informative, and covers a lot of random stuff about hockey, and it's been sitting in my gdocs for over a month, so hey, Primer! Apparently we are very very wordy, and colors are hard, so this is in multiple posts. Also, commentary was not deleted, so some of it rambles across time and thus is no longer relevant. Well damn. Slowly (SLOWLY) the timeline is being caught up to 2017. Hard to believe, I know, but it is happening...
This is a year by year, day by day, timeline of Bandom from 2001-2017! (2017! HOLY JESUS), with some pre2001 info included.
Bands included: The Used, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, The Young Veins, The Academy Is..., Empires, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Mindless Self Indulgence, and any & all side projects, solo work or additional bands (The Damned Things, Black Cards, Leathermouth, Gerard Way - comic diva, etc etc)
Not all information is completely filled in, most notably: the fringe bands (The Used, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Empires, etc), the hiatus years (except maybe for FOB), and its highly sporadic after 2011 and dependent on whatever/whoever caught mine orakamine_chans attention when we got it into our heads to update this thing so... hey feel free to send information (or sources) our way.
I'm all for people fixing info (it makes the timeline better!) but please source it.
The sites and interviewsI WE used to fill in information can all be found under the "timeline" tag on my delicious: here ; because there is WAY too many of them to sit here and list. Though I'm thinking I might need to find a better place to reference them than delicious. I'm open to suggestions.
