I am a research scientist at Google DeepMind. I believe what enables us to achieve great things is our ability to learn and use tools and our capacity to work together. My research focuses on advancing these frontiers in AI: I work on Gemini post-training to enhance tool use, and on Concordia to investigate the mechanisms of cooperative social intelligence through generative multi-agent simulations. I hold a PhD from KAIST and was named an ACM AAPI Pioneer in 2023.
