Some more of the 3D printed figures, some are the Mexican Federal again while others are USA Law Enforcement…and a few ‘bad guys’ at the end. As before, painted just enough to photo but not to hide what they are and some exploring with lighting.

The car is a very old Hot Wheels I picked up a long time ago… More to follow!

I was interested is getting some 3D printed figures to see how they compare to the plastic and white metal I have photographed before. I thought the details was pretty good tho admittedly I have not painted them particularly well but then that is not really my thing I usually photo/study as bought but made an exception here….they are quite brittle though so more for display than any kind of scenario unless very careful. Again the scale is 1/72 and some fun with the lighting and a couple of sets to follow.

F-84 Thunderjet

I picked up this metal 1/72 early jet, an F-84 Thunderjet, ages ago and kept it stored and sealed gathering dust. I felt it long past when I should at least do a study of it, the silver / metal finish was intersting to light but overall I felt it was worth documenting and posting.

Finally been able to get my act together and allocate some time to photography again. I had photographed some of these following set subjects before but not particularly satisfactorily for my liking so wanted to study, light and capture them again.

The intention has always been to capture them as something mysterious, glimpsed but not studied, deep swallowing blacks and creepy half light colours – almost as though underwater or those computer screen false colour image we often see in reports and documentaries.

There will be four or so sets to be posted, so here is set 1, these were all purchased pre-moulded and coloured / weathered so I was content to light and position them to make them strange and mysterious – to explore or to avoid….

My Prairie Lullaby

I thought it about time I released a new video for one of my songs, this time a duet!

Also, given the awful state of affairs lately and how it is the innocents who always suffer the most it feels appropriate….hope you all like!

So here is: My Prairie Lullaby, a cheery song about Colonialism…wherever and whenever and however it takes place.

Back to photographing my other subjects soon…

Remember Love – Here is another video for a track I have also written and recorded from a forthcoming – still in progress – album of original songs and themes.

An album’s worth on the way! Hope you like!!!
