So as usual I fail at regular journaling; no surprises there! The usual combination of stuff - work was hellishly busy for a while (ha, I keep writing busty, which, no), with some big deadlines, thankfully past now so a brief breathing spell in which to finish off my due South_c6d Big Bang project, and start doing two complementary artworks I've claimed.

General Stuff
I am OK! Possum is OK! I hope you're all doing OK too, and are less busy than me. I'm getting a new front door put in, as the old one's semi-rotted. 1950s weatherboard house in the bush, what can you do? I've started to do long-put-off chores like sorting out household fix-its, but am still behind the eight-ball in terms of my own exercise regime, sigh. Still trying, anyway, and still eating low-carb so that's good for me. 

Yeah - that fell by the wayside as soon as I got ridiculously busy, and it's been pretty frantic with deadlines in RL and fandom, ever since. A small breather now, and the luxury of time to catch up with sleep. Sleeeeeeep!
In the meantime, stuff's happened, like it does.

I am a bad bad DW and LJ (non)user. I've been so overloaded with RL dramas and crises and full up with challenges that have been posted elsewhere, and sometimes I've posted direct to AO3. So, fairly productive, despite ongoing aftershocks from Christchurch still shaking up my life. On the down side, I still owe an auction fic and an auction podfic for two worthy causes/recipients and I meant to do more of my John and Rodney at Hogwarts series. They're still high on the "to do" list, so I will eventually get there if I can not be so distracted by the latest shiny challenge. Podfic's harder to manage now, with a fairly open-plan home and my Mum living with me. Luckily she's really deaf! Stealth nocturnal podfic, FTW *g*.
