Post content excerpt has damaged the post list view in P2 backend

Description
The back-end list of blog posts in our P2 (make/polyglots) also includes a long excerpt (often the full text) of the post content in the "Title" column.
Currently in https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/wp-admin/edit.php (and probably in other "Make" sites, too, this disrupts the layout. All columns are quite narrow, due to Categories, Tags, and now also Revision notes being shown. As a result, some posts may occupy more than one page vertically.
It's super useful to see at least some of the post content directly in the post list. But could we either
- limit the excerpt to some 200 characters, or
- (better) place the post content in a second row, spanning all columns, for each post?

Go to the upper right hand corner, select the "Screen options" drop down and turn off some of the columns. I would recommend turning off the categories, tags, comments, and latest revision note. For this case.
All these settings are per user. You can turn off anything you want and it won't affect anybody else. You can also disable the excerpt entirely by selecting the compact view instead of the extended view.

Alternatively switch to Compact mode (The default) in the screen options which removes the excerpt from display.
This is probably worth reporting as a core bug, I would think that the excerpt should either be a new row in the table and spread over multiple columns or be severely length limited in display.
