It was a complete and utter success. I was very pleased with Mike & Leo, who came out, saw more nesting areas than we had, and went to obliterate them.

Once the smell has dissipated a bit more, I will take advantage of the 80+(!!!) day and sit with my foot propped up outside for a bit.

Turns out that the moron was not the owner, like I thought, but the owner's nephew/business partner. The owner was pre-warned by our Management people that I was Not. Impressed. the last time I dealt with this company, and we talked for a few. He listened to my incidents, mentioned he'd had another complaint about him (with a stern talking to), and said that the nephew would not be coming back here.

Victory, she is mine this day.

Wasps are not fun under normal circumstances. They are certainly not fun to deal with when you're not supposed to be out of bed, and you have one on the bedroom side of your balcony door.

Fuckers.

That one is now dead. The association has been called to send out the Goon SquadPest Control. If that idiot from the pest people tells me again that I must "learn to live with nature" I will kick his ass from here to Oregon, even with my bandaged foot. I will also be making sure that the board terminates his contract with our association. There's living with nature, and then there's having wasps in your house, and your balcony unusable because the wasps consider it a second home.

His laziness/incompetence is going to be a major problem for him if he doesn't decide to actually look for nests this time.
