Valve leaks

Hello.
I have bought a used suzuki bass melodion (nit the mannond but the regular suzuki) and unfortunately it is not airtight, i think it is an older one. i have done the usual, checked the tightness of the screws, unscrewed, checked for damabes in the sealing tape, etc, but i cant find the leak. i have noticed that when i blow hard, i can hear many notes quietly at the same time. does this mean that i have a leak in the valves, and what is the best DIY method to check this and to fix this with a suzuki instrument?
