Fic recap

It's been a busy couple of months writing-wise. I wrote the following for various challenges.

Timeless Hearts for whatif_au

Radek Writes Fanfic for SGA Saturday

John the Dragon Slayer for story_works.

By No Means for insert_title_here

I also wrote a couple of stories for romancingmcshep

Coloring Outside the Lines

Dial 'd' for De-ascended

The next things on my list are to write something for unconventional courtship, my whatif_au bingo card, and the newest Sga Saturday prompt challenge. (work/sweat)

At least it's keeping me out of trouble.

Dec fics

A short round-up:

I wrote two stories in December. Both SGA and McShep. Spirits of the Unrest which was my SGA Secret Santa gift to cassiope25.

This was my first time writing for The Cocktail Hour. My prompt was 20th Century Cocktail. To my surprise, it's mainly a Dave and John story. 20th Century Cocktail or No Lemons Allowed

That's it. That's a wrap for stories written in 2022. All told I wrote 78,312 words and created 3 pieces of art.

No idea what 2023 will bring. Let's find out!

waves goodbye to November

Not much to say about the passing month. It's weird waking up and it's still dark out. This is the time of year I tell myself, just a few more weeks and the days will start to get longer.

I did get a little writing done. Just two stories, but any month I can finish something is a good one. Both are SGA John/Rodney stories.

Stay Just a little bit of fluff for the sga_saturday prompt Leaves

The Outpost A somewhat longer story with a little angst and teamy goodness.

This story lived in my head for a good three years before I wrote it. The entire story came to me in my dreams one night. I even knew the ending by the time I woke up. (The only thing I didn't have was the title.)

But as is the way of dreams, that dream clarity tends to evaporate when faced with actually putting it into words. It sat in a wip folder for a lonnng time.

All in all, I'm very happy with how it turned out.

How did it get to be November already?

I didn't get all the writing done I'd hoped for, but I did manage to create something for five different challenges. All SGA *whistles innocently*

Two for the SGA Saturday prompts Tender and Quilt

A Heart to Hold (outsider pov)

Quilting with Dr. Biro

A Radek centered story for Spook Me. Awoken

A short five things ficlet for Stargate Day On the flipside

And finally, for the Story Works challenge Midnight Midnight Kiss (pure McShep)

In my attempt to meet various challenges...

These stories completed my (single line) Trope Bingo, the current sga_saturday challenge, and the Sci-fi/Robot challenge for story_works and whatif_au

It will shock no one to know they are all SGA McShep-centric. *coff*
