Yes we saw the announcement post by Discotek.
No, our work is not being used on it.
Links will be pulled in the coming days so if you’re outside the states now’s your time before they’re gone.
You’ve all probably read a dozen of these posts elsewhere so you don’t need the “Remember to support” spiel.
It would not be a project involving me if I didn’t stall it for years. Truly, the April Fool is Me. Anyhow sorry this isn’t episode 4, I swear it’s coming at some point. In the meantime here’s some incredibly minisodes that released alongside episode 1-3 back in the day iirc.
DDL
(The MVs in this are: Build Fighter’s Hanpan (Shorts) Spirit, Kyuranger’s Kyutama Dancing feat The Pelvic Thrust that got removed later, Kamen Rider 3’s Who’s That Guy, and the Platinumhugen Ordian OPs and EDs)
Twas some days after Christmas, and all’s fairly calm. Relaxing, eating, entertainment in palm. But there’s something bad in the air, to bring folks some shock (and maybe make some check their calendars and clocks). It’s awful, unpleasant, it might make you squirm. Quite slimy-feeling, like a handful of worms. It may make your stomach soon start to churn. That’s right you suckers: Champstice returns! After a long, elongated mental malady of a ride, I have returned to be a thorn in y’alls side. Or at the minimum, don’t expect much tonight. My offerings this xmas are rather slight. A few MVs is what’s brought along, mainly just because I enjoy these songs. Some lines may change later that I will currently spurn: After a year inactivity, my editing skills I must relearn. Also: I’m tired, brain’s still on the mend, so now the rhyming must come to an end.
So yeah. Been a while, especially since I’ve been on here. Stuff happened, still somewhat happening. It be like that sometimes. Hopefully next year I can get around to either wrapping up current project commitments, or finally getting around to the outstanding “really want to do but want to finish certain other stuff first” pile. Especially Ordian, which the OP/EDs in the above probably ain’t gonna be the final lyrics in any released episodes. Styling will probably stay, y’all know me and my garish taste. But yeah this post is mainly just because I wanted to post something before New Years. Lord knows I’ve fudged something up in the meantime, whether it’s accidentally deleting a line or forgetting a font, lol, lmao even.
Anyhow that’s all I got, see ya when shit’s ready for release.
Hey folks! Sorry about the delays and silence. Long story short: We’re gonna do a V2 of B-Fighter and Janperson when we can, but for now here’s a complete series + movie batch. One line in episode 51 we’d forgotten to sub is added back too. V2s will happen sometime at some point undecided.
Children spurred on to the violence. The mysterious concept of “Hyper-subliminal” messages. The desire for evil to win. Ryuzaburo Tatewaki, a.k.a. Billgoldy, begins to unfold his master plan for world domination. No one is safe and the clock is ticking as the Lord of Evil relishes the idea of mankind bowing to his whims. Janperson and Gun Gibson plunge themselves into the heart of it all, with one goal at the end of it all: Stop Tatewaki before it’s too late!
Janperson versus Billgoldy! Robot versus Bio-borg! Justice versus Evil! Who will come out on top, and what fate awaits our beloved robot detective and his comrades?! This is it! The final battle! It’s time to fight! Fight for Justice, Janperson!
Surprise! After nearly a decade of waiting on us, the final subtitled episodes of Janperson are here. These four are all connected in one heck of a finale, and the last battle is a sight to behold! Hard to believe how long it took us, but that’s another Metal Hero down, and another project done! Janperson can finally walk off into the sunset (well, until his return in B-Fighter, but we already took care of that a few months ago!)
As with B-Fighter, too, we’ve all got our final thoughts to share!
Bravo Town: A town built on the ideal concept of Human-Robot harmony. Gun Gibson arrives in this town which has become so violently skewed, where robots are enslaved and humans abuse them. Behind the scenes of this boiling conflict, George Makabe plans for his final push for World Robot Domination. But as Gun Gibson becomes caught in the midst of the machine uprising, Janperson discovers the shocking truth behind Makabe and Neo Guild as he hurries to stop humanity’s destruction. Has the End of Neo Guild arrived at last?!
Last time it was Reiko’s curtain call, now it’s Makabe’s turn to bow out. Gun Gibson gets his arc essentially closed here, we bring our idea of Human and Robot relations brought to the forefront, and there’s some real fun stuff about Georgie-boy’s origins and final battle here. Probably the most heated Janperson gets as a character (until the finale) and Gun Gibson going and living it up as he should.
We’re down to the final four episodes, folks! Stay tuned!
“The Earth is crying…” Reiko Ayanokouji laments. With the Super Science Network backed into a corner, she unleashes the mysterious power of the Super Beast God to deliver judgment onto humanity. But Janperson isn’t far behind, and he’s about to find out the tragic secrets of this long-time foe! Will humanity perish, or will justice prevail? The time has come for the SSN’s final battle against Janperson and Gun Gibson!
Releasing these as a duo, as a treat! This is the end of the Super Science Network’s role in Janperson, and it’s a fantastic two partner. Atsuko Takahata unfortunately seemed to get the least screentime of the three main villains of the series, but she absolutely goes all out here. It’s fun, it’s campy, it’s actually a tad tragic at the end. Reiko goes out with a bang. And we’re down to 6 more episodes!
Gun Gibson, guilty of attempted murder?! When our favorite gunman is falsely accused of rampant shootings, he’s thrown into Robot Jail as part of a sinister Neo Guild revenge scheme! Knowing his reluctant ally’s innocence, Janperson plans a rescue… but can he really go up against the Japanese government itself? It’s Law vs Love as a robot prison break commences!
Boy, didn’t expect a return to Robot Jail, huh? But what we should expect by now is Gun Gibson somehow totally goofing it with his friggin’ guns. He just can’t catch a break in this show! But this episode rules. Drama, tension, and Janperson facing a moral dilemma with one of the coolest lines in the series. You don’t wanna miss this one!
Super Science Network vs Neo Guild! It’s all-out carnage as these two factions are suddenly at each other’s throats. And behind it all lurks Billgoldy and his own machinations. Janperson and Gun Gibson are on the case to stop this brawl from escalating, but might just find themselves swept up as more of Tatewaki’s pawns!
Action and explosions galore this episode, which in some ways mirrors the movie’s hijinks (albeit slightly less, uh, like the movie). Now’s the perfect time to actually have all three major antagonists organizations gunning for each other, too. This is a fun one!
