About us – the story behind the Edison robot

Edison is the result of a genuine passion for education, creativity and STEAM learning. We create tools that help teachers engage their students — all students — in meaningful, hands-on learning. We want every student to have the opportunity to explore, play and discover subjects that can inspire their future.
 
Our educational robots are safe, robust, reusable, expandable and affordable. Designed to last and be used again and again, our products offer a world of combinations and possibilities to engage students as their skills grow — while helping reduce waste along the way.
 
Our team in Australia designs, develops, markets and supports everything we do. Our trusted team in China manufactures our products. We care deeply about the people who make Edison possible and are committed to their wellbeing.

Our head office is proudly located on Kaurna Country, in Adelaide, South Australia. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of this land and recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture and community. The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.
