Oh friendslist, who is oh so much smarter than me, help a girl out here. /end groveling

How much do a good pair of winter/snow/ickyweather boots cost? I don't go out in the snow a lot (despite my whining, we just don't get a lot of it here, and I'm not a big fan of sledding and/or snowball fights anyway), but it occurs to me that having a pair would be good for when I -do- need them, like helping people pick up fallen tree branches after ice storms, or y'know, the first couple of faire rehearsals. So.... How much should boots cost, and do these look like they fit the bill? (*eyedart* I admit it. I just think they're cute. And I can get them for $105 with my awesome power of Retailmenot.)
