Entry Format

・Works created using the designated coloring templates
・JPG, PNG, PSD, MDP formats (file size: up to 30MB)
・300 dpi or higher, no size restrictions

Important Notes

・Open to both professionals and amateurs.
・Both digital and traditional coloring are accepted. Works colored using software other than MediBang Paint are also eligible.
・Contestants are welcome to submit multiple entries.
・Use or redistribution of coloring templates outside this contest-related posting is prohibited (posting on social media during the submission period is allowed).
・Works that have previously won awards in other contests on ART street are not eligible.
・Plagiarism and duplicate submissions to other contests outside ART street are prohibited.
・Submissions containing adult content, graphic violence, or any other expressions that violate ART street’s all-ages guidelines will be disqualified.
Note: Expressions within the range depicted in the original Danganronpa games (e.g., pink-colored blood) are permitted.
・Do not directly use copyrighted characters, story elements, images, videos, or names owned by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. through copying, scanning, tracing, or similar methods.
・Do not use company logos, game logos, audio, music, sound effects, fonts, or any third-party copyrighted materials included in Spike Chunsoft’s works.
・Do not include the copyright notices of Spike Chunsoft, such as “©Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. All Rights Reserved.” or “©Spike Chunsoft,” in your submission.
・Commercial use of submitted works is prohibited.
・Submissions created using generative AI or similar image generation tools are not permitted.
・Works that allow identification of story culprits or victims are prohibited.
・Even if selected as an award-winning entry, submissions may be invalidated if they are found to violate any of the above rules.
・Judging and operation of this contest will be conducted in accordance with the official submission guidelines.
・Please retain the original data during the period between the end of submissions and the announcement of results.
・Works already posted on X (formerly Twitter) or other social media/websites are also eligible. Posting during the submission period is allowed.
・Copyright of submitted works remains with the creator. Regardless of whether an entry wins, participants grant MediBang Inc. and Spike Chunsoft Inc. (including its subsidiaries) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and sublicensable license to use the submitted works solely for contest-related purposes (promotion, result announcements, and Danganronpa series promotion). This includes reproduction, public transmission, and minimal necessary modifications.
・After the submission period ends, you may receive contact from [email protected] at the email address registered to your MediBang account. Failure to respond within the deadline may result in disqualification. Please ensure your email settings allow messages from this address and check your inbox regularly. You can verify your registered email address in your MediBang account.

Additional Notes on How to Apply

ART street uses an illustration submission system, so the upload screen may display “Illustration.” However, please upload your finished coloring work as it is.
When submitting your entry, be sure to check the banner labeled “Danganronpa Coloring Contest.” Entries without this selection will not be eligible for judging.

【Enter the contest from MediBang Paint】
1. Go to “Contests” or “Apply to Contest,” find “Danganronpa Coloring Contest,” and select “Apply”
2. When asked “Open in web browser?”, select “Yes”
3. You will be redirected to the contest page, scroll to the bottom and click “Apply!”

Additional Notes Regarding Prizes/Awards

・The number of winning entries for each category is not guaranteed.
・Depending on the results of the judging process, there may be no winning entries, or the number of winners may exceed the planned amount.
・Regarding prize payments: Prize money will be credited to the MediBang account used for submission. To receive payment, a PayPal account or bank account information must be registered. (Any transfer fees will be borne by the winner.)
・Physical prizes will be shipped by mail. A separate email will be sent to the email address registered to your MediBang account to request necessary shipping information (such as name and address).
・Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent to participate.

Important Notes for Submission

By submitting a work to this contest, you are deemed to have agreed to the submission terms and conditions. Please make sure to read the full terms carefully before applying.
・After the submission period ends, submitted works can no longer be edited or deleted, except for tag additions. Please be aware of this in advance.
・Detailed guidelines regarding illustration submissions on ART street are available in the posting guidelines. Please read them carefully before participating in the contest.
・When creating your work, please also refer to Spike Chunsoft’s official secondary creation (fan works) guidelines. However, permissions related to the distribution of derivative works do not apply to submissions for this contest.
