
Joseph F Rath
Joseph F. Rath, PhD, is associate director for psychology research at Rusk Rehabilitation, NYU Langone Health, and Project Director of the NIDILRR-funded Rusk Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) Postdoctoral Fellowship. He is a Past-President of the American Psychological Association's (APA) Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology), a past Chair of APA's Committee on Disability Issues in Psychology, and a member of the editorial board of the journal Rehabilitation Psychology. A recipient of the Harold Yuker Award for Research Excellence and the Roger Barker Distinguished Research Contributions Award from APA's Division 22, Dr. Rath's research interests include acquired brain injury, problem solving and emotional self-regulation approaches to neuropsychological rehabilitation, and training and diversity issues in rehabilitation psychology.
