VC++
Channel9 has an interesting VC++ video – VC++ Today and Tomorrow. Sutter’s blog have details of ISO C++ 0x. Appears the new strategy for VC++ is to concentrate on native code and interop. Orcas will include STL/CLR. Further down the road (post-Orcas), the toolkit will be modernized – integration of compiler and editor. Sounds like Spy++ will finally get an update as well 🙂 Appear Microsoft will still not have C++ refactoring in Orcas, but they are working with Developer Express to ensure that Refactor! is Orcas ready.
