I do two things, painting and writing. Through painting, as through writing, I closely observe and respond to the world around me. This intense “seeing” helps me understand my world.
I've been a professional artist for over 25 years, though I can honestly say I’ve been painting all my life. I write about everything related to painting, focusing mostly on plein air painting, which is my specialty.
