Was it as frustrating for you as it was for me?

A Champions League day... always special for a Blue. How on earth are they going to screw it up today? XD

Stevan Jovetic is back in the squad, and Fernando Reges and Samir Nasri are out through injury. Everyone else is okay.

Thoughts? Predictions? Soup and crackers?

This week's games saw a total of 11 goals from City scored (7-0 vs Sheffield Wednesday, 2-4 vs Hull City Tigers), with Dzeko getting 4, Lampard getting 3, and Navas, Yaya, Aguero and Pozo getting 1 each.

What a great way to rebound from THE TOUGHEST WEEK IN FOOTBALL EVER, getting through to the next round in the Capital One Cup and keeping up with Chelsea in the League! Now we face AS Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday next, and it'll be at home! We need to do well here to keep up with the group standings. Are you feeling optimistic now? :D Write your thoughts down!

How do you feel about it guys? On the one had, you might feel disappointed that we only got two points from Arsenal away and Chelsea at home. On the other hand, that's one point gained from corresponding fixtures last season. We've also shown that Chelsea's potent attack can be blocked with good defense, so hopefully the rest of the league do us a favor and stop Diego Costa, et al. James Milner had a stunning game, and WHAT ABOUT Eliaquim Mangala's debut! What a BEAST, I'm so thrilled he's ours!

The less said about Bayern away the better. Deserved a point from that, tbh, but never mind.

Thoughts, reactions, tears?

So, you all might already know that we've drawn with Arsenal away, with the final score ending 2-2 after goals from Aguero and Demichelis (Argentines!). City seemed to think they were unfortunate not to come away with all three points since Dzeko hit the post twice in the end and Nasri had a goal chalked off for offside. Ah well. Those are the breaks of the game.

Next we have Munich away! Which! You know! That's always fun :D

Hopefully Yaya's back and Kompany/Silva/Aguero can manage to play another game in midweek, considering how important they are. Bacary Sagna will be used in place of Zaba since the latter is suspended following last season's red card away to Barcelona. First Champions League game of the season, and it's a cracker! Any predictions?

Following that, we have the current league leaders and favorites to win the league Chelsea at home after Champions League. That'll be something to look forward to, of course :D what with their new strikers and their consistently good midfield and defense, and our exhausted bbs. Ah well. We'll do our best, and trudge merrily along.

This month is a bit of a shocker for us, but the team seems up for it! Are you? Let's do it, City :)

One last game before international break and then we move onto the toughest week of fixtures imaginable (Arsenal away, Bayern away, Chelsea at home). Score predictions? Excited for a break from club football and a return to internationals? Tell me your thoughts :)

No injuries for City except that Mangala is not expected to appear and that Negredo (with his injury) is still out.

BREAKING NEWS: Renowned agent Di Marzio (really the only person whose transfer info I trust) just said that Radamel Falcao might be joining City. Which... I don't know if I'm going to believe. OTOH, Di Marzio! OTOH, we don't need Falcao? Thoughts?

It's the top two of last season battling it out for 3 points in what was one of last season's most fascinating fixtures. It's also the first home game for the reigning Premier League champions!

Comments, reactions and gifs go in here :)

Feel free to predict the outcome. Me? I'll just be here, underneath my blanket, trying not to cry from nerves.

Hello everyone!

Well, we had a good opening game away to Newcastle, winning 0-2 thanks to goals by David Silva and Sergio Agüero! The upcoming match on Monday against Liverpool is going to kill me :-) tell me your thoughts on it! Feeling confident? Or are you nervous like me?

Anyway, time for a bit of news roundups!

New contracts and possible transfers?

  • Sergio Agüero signed a contract extension to keep him at MCFC until 2019!

  • Edin Džeko signed a contract extension to keep him at MCFC until 2018!

  • Matija Nastasic, Micah Richards, Scott Sinclair and John Guidetti to possibly be sold? :(

  • Valencia are inquiring about Alvaro Negredo and rumors say that if they meet the asking price he will be sold. Real Madrid snooping around again, as well.

Upcoming match

  • Team news! Everyone is fit, bar Negredo, who is still out with an injury to his 5th metatarsal. Pellegrini also thinks that Eliaquim Mangala of the Great Manchester City Transfer Saga of 2014 is still not yet ready and will probably make his debut against Stoke City at home.

Ice Bucket Challenge

In case you missed it, everyone's getting involved in the viral sensation known as the #ALSIceBucketChallenge! If you get nominated, you have 24 hours to film yourself pouring a bucket of ice-cold water on yourself to simulate the sensation which people afflicted with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) undergo. It's a cute trend but the important thing it does is that it raises awareness and donations to fund the development of treatment for this disease! For more information, please visit alsa.org and DONATE IF YOU CAN!! :) it really is a wonderful cause to get involved in, and every little bit helps.

Anyway, the Manchester City players and staff were nominated in various fora, so here is a list of them so far:
