SW Engineer working for Collabora, currently working in MeeGo projects. I have experience open source, and also in the games industry, in both entertainment and serious gaming.
Hello! My friends and I came across your blog and we were wondering if you can help us with some features of our project that will utilize html5. It’s an online moviemaker much like what was featured in your blog.
Is it possible to piece together video clips using html5 or Javascript? and can you suggest a function that can help us preview a clip when the mouse is hovered over it? Lastly, is Drag and Drop possible using html5 and can you give us a sample?
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and I do hope that you can help us.
Hi Mateu,
after reading your blog about the html5 editor I can only say it is bloody amazing. I’m currently looking for a much simpler solution, but using the same approach: html5, processed locally (your player does that) then the newly created files would be uploaded straight to YT. Basically, I need an automated video cutting and uploading device. Is your project open source? I reckon it is possible to achieve what I need by modifying the code, right?
dude!
Your blog, esp the last one about collaboration services on MeeGo, should be on planet MeeGo… π
yeah, it will be there soon I hope, I am waiting for my blog to be included in the roll. Thanks π
