Vyva’s sustainable wool upholstery fabric

Dales is a wool upholstery fabric that combines the natural beauty of wool with the performance required for modern contract interiors. The fabric consists of approximately 90% wool and 10% polyester, providing a perfect balance of softness, strength and shape retention.

The textured hopsack weave gives Dales a luxurious, tactile appearance that suits both contemporary and classic interiors. The high wool content offers natural breathability and comfort, while the polyester adds extra durability.

Dales meets the fire safety standards Crib 5 and IMO, including BS 7176 Crib 5, BS EN 1021-1 & 2, BS 5852 Crib 5 and IMO Annex 1 Part 8. The fabric is phthalate-free, REACH-compliant and OEKO-Tex certified, meaning it is free from harmful substances, and has a Martindale abrasion resistance of over 70,000 rubs for long-lasting performance in heavy-use environments.
