The MOC Alliance aims to accelerate the pace of discovery and innovation in an open production research-focused cloud.
This active partnership between higher education, medical research centers, government, and industry provides structure and resources that enable a close collaboration between research, development, and operations in a series of interconnected projects. The goal of this collaboration is to provide predictable low cost resources and facilitator support for domain researchers, and more broadly, innovation in the public cloud.

The New England Research Cloud (NERC) is available for new users!
We are pleased to announce that the New England Research Cloud (NERC) is generally available for research and education users.
NERC charges users rates sufficient to cover costs and enable the cloud to grow. These rates are currently between 1/3 and 1/2 of the public cloud, the project does not charge any egress costs, and we expect rates to drop dramatically as the effort scales.
You can find information on onboarding and documentation to use the service here, and an evolving web page of tutorials, use cases, and demonstrations of using the service here. We are offering one month of free service (or $1,000, whichever comes first), and BU Research IT is offering a $100 per month subsidy for BU faculty.
