A: The delusion that one woman differs from another / It is natural to touch more often the part that hurts / Darling, I care about your suffering.

Sculptures mimic pedestals from the posters above, but as if figures had left impressions in various positions that reference the original found images which come from a figure drawing reference book from the 1979.




There Will Never Be An End To This Droning Of The Surf, 2012
Pine-wood coffin, water, wood, pew kneelers, silicone, underwater speaker.
The sound of the ocean is played through the water in the coffin, via an underwater speaker that is using audio from the adjacent video Knowing Nothing. Small vibrations in the water are also visible.

Infinity effect is created as the viewer's reflection appears within glass column.

Glass, sand, fluorescent lights, motion detectors, Forton MG casting material, silicone, tanning bed, heating mechanism, plaster, found bucket.
Functional tanning bed may be switched on for use by viewers, and sunning rocks are warm to the touch at 98.6 degrees (body temperature).
