I'm back from a 3-mile walk with a few other preschool moms. And that was a brisk walk, not a stroll. OMG, I think I'm going to die now. As soon as Avi and Yael get out of the shower, I'm going to go in and hope that helps, otherwise I might not be doing much walking today. And tomorrow will probably be quite painful, I suspect.

Amazing how a nasty pregnancy, a c-section, and blood loss will take it out of you ;)

Okay, the boy has eaten, so that gives me time to get dressed and whatnot. He'll probably be hungry again just as we get to the church for Anna's confirmation. Oh well. ::sigh:: Darn it, my shawl is at my in-law's house in the diaper bag. Rats. I just drove by their place, but I didn't think of it, or I could have snagged the bag.

Dude! Does the desktop software for the BlackBerry suck, or is it just me? ::scowls:: Well, at least we've figured out how to "invite" each other to items on our calendar, so hopefully there will be less confusion there. Now I just need to get in the habit of adding things to the BlackBerry instead of a paper calendar.

Well, we're switching to Verizon FiOS in February, because we already had Verizon for phone and wireless, and we got a good deal if we bundled in cable and Internet. Here's hoping Verizon is less evil than Comcast and Earthlink have been :D

We're going to keep an Earthlink dial-up account for a few months, in order to give us time to track down the eight million places that we've used our e-mail address and change them. I'm slightly freaked, because we've had this e-mail address for, oh lordy, 10 years? 11 years? Something like that.

FiOS does sound cool and it turns out that with the bundling, we'll end up saving a bit of money every month. Not tons, but every little bit counts.

Oooh, that reminds me that I got paid for one of the books I edited and I need to deposit the check. I have two more checks that should come in soon, so January will be my best month in a while :)

In amusing news, I bought something vitally important off eBay yesterday: Curious George underwear for Yael! We went looking for big girl underwear yesterday and all we could find was Disney princesses which a) I won't buy and b) Yael couldn't care less about since she's never seen any of the movies. We did manage to find and buy one pack of Dora and one pack of Minnie Mouse (although Yael wanted the Mickey ones, but they didn't have those for little girls of course. Grrrr).

Yael kept looking at us pitifully and saying "I want George. Where's George?" So I found it for her. Hooray for the Internet! (Which reminds me that I think I need a George icon.)

Is it sad that I hesitated before typing "toddler girl underwear" into Google? I'm happy to say that nothing bizarre popped up. But...it could have. ::winces::

Well, it's almost time to take Yael to school, then I'm off to water aerobics for the first time in forever. I'm gonna hurt sooo much tomorrow and Sally's gonna tease me today, but darn it, I need to exercise.
