I hope everyone had a good Saint Patrick's Day and that they didn't get into too much trouble. I would love to hear stories, though, if anyone has them. I spent mine in class, doing some schoolwork, and sleeping because I didn't get any the night before, but I did have a Guinness and wore my Dublin United hoodie to express my Irish heritage. Unfortunately, I could not, for the life of me, find my green t-shirt that has two shamrocks on it and says "Dublin Vision", but I did have my Dropkick Murphys tee that says "Shamrock and Roll". One of my professors questioned me on whether I was actually Irish. It's not my fault I'm a dirty blonde. Not all of us can be redheads. I am part English and part Cherokee Indian, as well. Who knows what the rest of my heritage is.

Which brings me to this: Does anyone know of a computer program that can organize a massive and very confusing family tree? I have been trying to put one together since I was 15, so it's been about six years. The sad thing is that I still can't get past my grandparents when it comes to full names and birth/death dates. I have been able to get some stories about my great-grandparents and a few tit-bits about my great-great-grandparents (the heritage), but I keep getting stonewalled by the older members of my family. They act like I shouldn't be bothering with it and they don't talk to me. This will be the fourth time I have made an attempt to put together a family tree and this time I'm not going to let anything stop me. I think that if I can get the birth/death dates and full names I can maybe do some research to go from there.

It's going to take a long time. Especially since it's my third huge project and I have many minor projects, as well. I know that, but I have to try.

I really am bored. I've been napping on and off all day because I feel like crap. I have a final exam in 4hrs. It's for Psychology of Sexuality. I really need to study, but I just have no clue what's going on with this study guide. It's a list of 20 Essay Questions. Surely the exam can't be made of 20 essay questions? I mean most of these questions would take me two pages to answer and we only have two hours to do the whole thing. That's what she did last time though and we ended up only having to answer two, so that should be what happens this time. I didn't even study for the last one and I got a 47/50, and I went to more classes this time around. I should be fine. I don't know why I'm worrying.

What I need to be studying for is my Intro to American Sign Language final tomorrow. I'm doing worse than I thought in that class. I was so sure I a low A or high B and apparently I have a low B. That sucks. The last thing I need is my mother harping about my grades as well as the smoking (which I do more of than she thinks), the drinking (which I do far less of than she thinks), the dyeing my hair purple (which she'll find out about eventually), and the trying to escape to London (which she's doing everything in her power to keep me from doing). Oh well, I can live with a B. My prof hasn't even graded our stories yet and they were marked as F's, so when that's taken care of it should help me a little.

I have to do that paper for Criminological Theory as well. It shouldn't take to long once I get to it. It's due tomorrow at the latest.

I have so much other stuff to do on various comm's and different challenges, which I signed up for to relax from my finals stress. It's just kind of made things a little more difficult. It'll be better around Monday. I have to work all weekend. This working and going to school thing, totally sucks. It really drains the energy.

Maybe it's time for another hour and a half long nap.

So I'm working on my Martian Holiday ficlet (due today - procrastination like whoa) and my ADD kicks in. It wants music and I'm feeding it. This song is one my friend Ricky got me hooked on. It gives me this awesome mental image of Sam and Gene (Life on Mars) smut in 2006. Sam is in drag and Gene is one cuffed to the bed for a change. I love that image. Unfortunately, my Martian Holiday fic can't be porn.
