I think I'm going to make this a less frequent record/update - as i am being a lot better about updating my blog.  I think I'm a bit better at keeping that one updated as i usually have deadline dates to get posts online for, and to be honest I'm never sure what to write here (Think i must lead a very boring life as times)

Will try to check in here at least once a month from now on and see how that goes.

Though i'd better update this before i fell a the first hurdle:

How is going so far:

Craft room is getting organised, but the rest of my life is still in the same state is was in last month
Have been pretty good about now buying craft stuff, got 2 scanners and some ribbon for wedding invitation but have been fairly restained.
Has taken me a month to post my second message so no. 3's not looking too healthy.
No sign of a blog yet, so no.4's looking even worse.
Diet's been going on for about 4 weeks now, had a couple of treats but not too bad so far.

I think in general i would mark last month as coud do better (but could have been a lot worse i guess)

Going to keep this fairly short as i never really know what to write in these sort of things.  (And will try not to over edit this into oblivion). 

May as well start wtih a few targets for the year:

1. Be generally more organised
2. Be really strict about what craft stuff i buy
3. Try to update this journal at least semi-regularly
4. Set up a blog for cards and enter at least on challenge a week.
5. Try to stick to a diet for more that a couple of weeks.

Never really know what to put in these things, so this will probably be a bit of a work in progress.  I'm generally more of a reader than a writer (my creative side comes out more in visual forms than literary), my main problem is that i tend to edit anything i write to within an inch of its life and am never really satisfied with what i end up with.  So for this journal i'm goping to try to just write it and not get to bogged down in the could i have phrased that better sort of thing.

I guess i'd better start with a bit of a biography / introduction.

My name is Carolyne i live on the North West of England and am fast approching my 35th birthday.  In my normal life i work in Local Government as an Administrator, love papercrafting, have a small but close family and 1 cat.  In my online life i am totally addicted to reading fanfic (and have been since i got my first PC, which was about 14 years ago)  In that time i've wandered through loads of different fandoms includeing in no particular order Babylon 5, Smallville, X-files, Startrek Voyager, Stargate, Highlander, Torchwood (I'm currently relying on fanfic to help me ignore that fact that they Killed Ianto), Buffy and i'm currently really into Queer As Folk fiction.(The US version which i had never seen until about 3 months ago when i bought the first series on DVD on a whim - this was quickly followed by the 2n, 3rd and 4th sereis and the 5th which has only just been realease in the UK is currently on its way to me)

I'm going to try to make an effort to update with reasonable frequency, but i'm going to leave it there for now.
