Lone Oak Brewery Rescue Event

2026-09-10 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Lone Oak Brewery has Wednesday September 9th set aside to fundraise for our rescue. We will be with a few other charities in sharing a percentage of the sales for the night. Please set your reminders for this event and come out to toast the rescue and a great local brewery! All you have to do is show up and have a few beverages and the rescue benefits. Easy peasy! Hope to see you there!

Paws in the Park

2026-09-13 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On September 12th, House of Hope is hosting a special event to celebrate and support rescue dogs. There will be handmade goods, treats, crafts, décor, and plenty of rescues and information on how you can help. This is a full day celebration of hope and love and the kindness of others. Join us Sept 12 at North East Community Park!

Southern States Rescue Event

2026-09-13 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Join us and other rescue organizations for a farewell to the Mount Airy Southern States and maybe meet a new family member. After years of serving the community, Southern States Mount Airy will be closing at the end of the year. They have always been a community staple and are dedicated to helping find animals loving homes. We will be onsite for you to meet with volunteers and talk about the rescue and how you can help and adopt! MAGSR does not do adoptions at events, but you can maybe meet a few candidates. Come out and see how you can make a difference!

Join MAGSR at the Mt Airy Farmer's Market

Mount Airy Farmer's Market

2026-09-17 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Join us at the Weekly Mount Airy Farmer's Market for local crafts, produce, baked goods, and dogs! This is a well attended event and we'll have rescue merchandise, crafts, and any adoptable dogs that are available to come out. If the weather is unsafe for the pups, we will not attend. Check in before you make the trip!
