Project Description
This 5,200 sq. ft. facility contains environmental operations for analyzing water, soil, metals, organic and inorganic material, and radioactive nuclear particulate.
Mechanical System Description
The project included variable flow air valve ventilation systems with zone reheat, re-cool and fan-coil conditioning. Centralized distribution of P10 gas, helium, UHP Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Argon, breathing air, compressed air and natural gas was provided. Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) systems were used where stainless steel had chemical compatibility issues. Perchloric systems required wash-down systems and air scrubbers.
