Light shapes the soul of a library. It brings calm to each page, warmth to every corner, and invites people to slow down, focus, and connect. Through soft, balanced illumination and the natural beauty of wood, libraries become more than places to read—they become spaces to feel. We believe in those complex projects that push us to trust our intuition, that demand a slow creative process and that only come to life thanks to the dedication of artists and artisans specialising in various disciplines. In this exhibition, we narrate their careers through the objects and curiosities that have marked their path. This is how we understand design: as a laboratory for the development and experimentation of ideas, a space for learning, creating and, above all, enjoying.

Woodtouchedbylight

At LZF Lamps, we design with light and the transformation it produces in wood. We combine traditional knowledge, hand-made by expert craftsmen, with technology and research to create unique sustainable lighting fixtures.

The exceptional malleability of our wood veneer allows us to shape infinite landscapes where light can travel and return, telling beautiful stories through its warm, glowing embrace. Discover our carefully curated collection, featuring striking pendant lamps and innovative wood lighting designs that redefine how light interacts with natural materials.

We researched and patented a process called Timberlite to build them, eliminating contaminating processes and integrating sustainable processes. We select each sheet of wood on the basis of its grain and transparency. We love shapes, colours, rhythms, fine materials, beauty, light and enjoying our surroundings.
