Not sure if anyone is still checking here but let's give it whirl. I've searching for a fic which happens years after Luke and Reid met, got together and broke up. Luke ended up married to someone else and living in Malta with his husband and their child. The child suffers a head injury and Luke reaches out to Reid for his help and Reid travels to Malta and performs surgery on the child.

Hi whoever is still coming here. Looking for a fic in which Luke thinks Reid is dead. He's living alone by a lake and drinking. Damian comes to help and Luke tells him he's been getting calls from Reid. Turns out, Reid is being held in a lab and they've experimented on him. Damian and Luke rescue him.
