A Day of Family-Friendly Fun
Presented by the Uihlein Foundation, Community Appreciation Day welcomes the Adirondack community to enjoy free admission, world-class competition, family activities, the beloved Doggie Costume Contest, and a memorable summer day at the Lake Placid Horse Shows.

Show Hours
The average show day starts at 8:00 am and runs until early evening.
Weather delays can happen.
Parking
Parking is free!
A parking attendent will direct you to a parking spot upon arrival.
Seating
Shaded and unshaded seating areas are available throughout the showgrounds.
Guests are also welcome to bring their own chairs.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the Lake Placid Horse Shows and must remain leashed at all times.
Please be considerate of other guests and horses by cleaning up after your dog.
