Loustat and My take on the new Interview with the Vampire series. Also, I'm back!

So, finally saw all 7 episodes of Interview with the Vampire and I still don't care much for Louis. Especially now that the show changed up the story a bit and pretty much made Lestat's character so much more worse then he really is. Also, Louis isn't much help in that aspect either. Granted, Lestat was never an angel, but come on. I used to be a Louis bias, but then the more I read into him, the more annyoing his character became to me. Now I'm fully a Lestat bias, lol. Also, love the actress they chose for Claudia in the first season. She did a wonderful job in portraying her and I'm sad to see her bow out. I'm sure the next actress replacing her will also do a great job.

I am glad they are finally going with the LGBTQ approach, just as Anne Rice confirmed. Despite my dislike of Louis, and being a fan of Lestat, I still love them together and I'm happy Mrs. Rice confirmed their relationship before her heartbreaking passing. I used to be a Louis bias, but the more I read into his him, the more annyoing his character became to me. Now I'm fully a Lestat bias. I do hope that in this TV series, #loustat will get the chance to eventually make amends with each other.

I'm probably going to skip out on Season 2 because I can care less about Armand and Louis love affiar. Call it childish, but I read the books and I like what I like. I'll check in when Lestat returns, lol. Don't get me wrong, the show is good so far and it actually reawoke my passion for the Vampire Chronicles since I've been outside the fandom for so long and with my guys of BTS serving in military at the moment, I need a new distraction.

I hope we get our Lestat back soon and the show didn't permanently off him. I don't know why I'm paranoid about that being that Lestat is the star of the Vampire Chronicles. I just hope the show runners honor the book and have my beloved #loustat as the endgame, as it should be. Huh. For someone who dislikes Louis so much, I love my Loustat, lol. Eh, I'm not perfect either. Never said I hated Louis, just that he's not my fave at the moment. Honestly, I do agree that the relationship between #loustat is toxic, but seems like all the vamps in the story don't have the smoothest relationship, so that argument is kind of stale.

Anywho, reluctantly looking forward to the next season. I'll probaby try to dabble a bit in it and see what happens. We'll see!
