It wasn't just books that I picked up, the other day, before the new Lockdown began :o) I had a little look in CEX as well and found the latest 'Hellboy' film going cheap. Maybe that should have warned me but I wouldn't have paid any attention anyway as I do love me some 'Hellboy'. I'm not a massive fan, I've read the first few collected volumes and watched Ron Perlman make a more than decent fist of Hellboy in the two films; I've also read Hellboy's adventures with The Goon (as well as Ghost); that's about as far as it goes but that's plenty enough until I finally pay my debt off and can afford a trip to Forbidden Planet... I've stayed away from the latest Hellboy movie as I hadn't heard good things about it and to be honest, there are loads of good movies that I'd rather watch first. You know the deal by now, one of the things that I like to write about here is my ongoing journey to replace all the comic books and graphic novels that I had to sell that one time (okay, those seven or eight times...) The only real rules are to buy as cheaply as possible or jump on it quickly if you think someone else is going to get it. I really, really need to either get a life or just learn to chill out a little bit when it comes to comics.
