Which databases (data libraries) are available in SimaPro?

Life cycle inventory databases are called ‘libraries’ in SimaPro. SimaPro currently includes the following libraries (in the default Professional database):

• ecoinvent
• Agri-footprint
• EU and Danish Input Output
• US Life Cycle Inventory Database
• Industry Data 2.0

There are many free databases, which you can download in SimaPro format, including:

• DATASMART LCI (included with every license purchased through LTS) 
• Agribalyse
• Quantis World Food LCA Database

In addition, users can purchase and import many databases including:

• ESU World LCA Food Database
• IDEA Japanese Inventory database
• The Social Hotspots Database
