Lodes & Lanterns sites do not directly collect any personal data. However, they rely on third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

The blog is a newsletter hosted on Substack and operates under Substack's privacy policy. If you subscribe to the newsletter, data is collected and managed on behalf of Substack.

Torchfinder

Torchfinder may display cover thumbnails hotlinked directly from third-party storefronts such as DriveThruRPG and itch.io. When your browser loads these images, servers they depend on receive a standard request that can include your IP address. Thumbnails are not loaded without your explicit consent, which you can grant or withdraw at any time in the app. No personal data is otherwise collected or transmitted by Torchfinder itself.

Torchtimer

Torchtimer does not collect personal data. When using the "Go Live" feature, timer state is temporarily stored in Cloudflare Workers KV to enable real-time session sharing, expiring after 24 hours. No personal data can be included in this state: torch labels are not transmitted over live sessions by design, only through data in the URL.
