Exporting extensive databases is a critical challenge, as these processes can be complex and time-intensive for large-scale sites. We’ve taken on this challenge by introducing a solution that makes the process more reliable and significantly faster, ensuring our platform meets the demands of enterprise customers.

Additionally, this update directly addresses the challenge of long-running exports that can time out, ensuring a faster, more dependable experience and enabling you to maintain robust data recovery capabilities.

What’s New?

Our enhanced process leverages improved tooling to significantly reduce the time needed for database exports, delivering dramatic reliability and performance benefits:

• Faster Exports: Our tests with beta customers showed an improvement of up to 300% in export times for even the most extensive databases.
• Improved Reliability: With this update, you can rely on successful exports even for the most complex data setups.

All tools within the VIP-CLI toolchain are fully supported, allowing you to integrate the new process into your existing workflows seamlessly. 

Important Notes

• Export Scope: Currently, exporting individual tables or specific network sites is not yet supported.
• Third-Party Compatibility: Customers using non-VIP tools to work with exported files will need the myloader utility for re-imports.
