Another good day
Mar. 19th, 2013 | 11:57 am
Off to a good start today. Had about a cup of multigrain cheerios for breakfast with almond milk. Iced coffee with a tbsp of soy hazelnut creamer. It's almost lunch time so I will probably eat now, have some water, and then finish chores.
Here's a list for myself
Make tea
Make Hubby's lunches for the week (burritos, trail mix, cuties oranges, coke zero)
Finish laundry
Dishes
Clean off kitchen table??
Organize play room
Sweep/mop downstairs floors
Clear hallway (sort things for school/goodwill/garage)
That's about what I can accomplish today. Yesterday I was able to walk an hour on the treadmill at a slight incline. It said I burned about 300 calories? Something like that, I can't remember now. But it felt really good and I enjoyed listening to music and having that alone time. I think I will do that again tonight, maybe after dinner.

Going well
Mar. 18th, 2013 | 09:54 pm
Going well so far, lost two pounds already. Stomach looks flatter. Really just need to lose on thighs to look better.
Want to jot down some ideas for work lunches for myself. I have to eat with my coworkers most days and need to eat, just don't want to eat a lot.
Pretzels, fruit salad, veggie salad, raw almonds, banana, granola, home made tea, healthy trail mix, very small portions of leftover dinner, plain rice and steamed veggies, veggie sandwich, carrots and cucumbers with lemon slice, lentil soup
Also know its a good idea to carry lifesavers candy, sugarless gum and crackers with me to help if I get dizzy or need to curb hunger

For myself
Mar. 16th, 2013 | 07:24 pm
Been trying to lose weight recently and having a difficult time. I realized that what helped me so much last time was writing down what exactly I was going to eat everyday. It helps to have already decided instead of just popping my head into the pantry and seeing so many different things, most of which shouldn't even be a choice for me. Here is my plan for tomorrow.
AM - steel cut oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, 2 tbsp. local honey / coffee / glass of ice water
Glass of iced tea no sugar - black, green & yerba mate home brewed
Mid-day - Veggie dog with 1/2 bun / glass of iced tea
Banana / almonds if necessary / iced water
PM - Fresh salad with lemon juice / glass of iced tea
I obviously drink a lot of tea. I make it at home myself, and I drink it instead of soda, which I stopped drinking completed about a month ago. I was drinking a lot of diet soda and realized how awful it was for my body. This is a better alternative!
I would like to keep some fruit, saltines and pretzels around just in case I get snacky.

suck it up, god just suck it up
it doesn't hurt that bad
you're just being a baby.
a baby, you're just a baby
too young for him
go home, baby
cry yourself to sleep
