Finally got a chance to try Rockaway Pizza last night and see what all the fuss is about. Simply put, it’s well-deserved fuss. We went traditional and ordered the NYC Round, half pepperoni. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had here in Pittsburgh. IMO it rivals some of the best I’ve eaten in New York.

I often come to books with a blurred and divided mind. But I come to the book asking it to help me un-blur and un-divide. That the slow process of reading would give me clarity and a singular focus, free from the distraction of short-form or digital media.

The first time I saw a mushroom growing on a pine cone, it felt like something rare. I had never seen it before, and I still find it just as beautiful today. What began as a chance discovery has become an annual photography project.
A work in progress. I started painting again after over a decade of not keeping up. I should be done with this one soon but theres still a bit to do. The title of this one is “Lost in Puuurrrgatory”. Let me know what you think and Ill have the final done soon

After brunch at One Tree Point our friend A, from Leigh, a 90 minute drive south, invited us to visit so we did.
She had made two loaves of bread: a buckwheat loaf and a spelt sourdough. Both were delicious.
