Tonight was the ABT Gala at the Civic Opera House. ABT isn't my favorite ballet company - NYCB is - but they do have my favourite dancer, Ethan Stiefel, and another dancer I love, Sascha Radetsky. As is usual when I try to see Ethan dance, though, they removed his name at the last second. *sigh*

Sascha danced in "Rodeo", which was great. Except that I was afraid I was about to have a coughing fit so I stepped out the doors until it abated. I knew I couldn't go back to my seat until a break in the program - heavens, if I wasn't considerate of my neighbours, I wouldn't have stepped out to cough now, would I? - but I didn't realize they wouldn't let me back through the doors at ALL. So I had to miss half of Rodeo.

Score: No Ethan, only a little Sascha. Lilith mostly loses.

So, now I'm hyper and annoyed, and not likely to get to sleep very quickly. So I'm scanning some stuff I promised various people long ago. Scans are probably all going to be quick and dirty, and will have to be redone when I'm in the proper frame of mind. But here's the first of them anyway.

Back when I was the official photographer for Ilia Kulik's fanclub, he did a movie called "Center Stage" and I got a credential to the premiere. Here are a few photos from that - just 96dpi and unwatermarked. I'll rescan them over the summer in hi-res (and you'd better believe I'll watermark them). I was psyched to discover, just about 10 minutes ago, that Gillian Murphy has my photo of her on her website!

I've forgotten, and some other folks. I'll have to get my act together on these before I post the big scans - which will probably be on my website.
