Support with course materials

Library resources for Canvas
Discover library resources that can be embedded into your Canvas courses to support student learning, including self-directed modules, research guides and pre-recorded workshops.
Course reserves
The library can help you make readings and other assigned materials easily accessible for your students in your Canvas course. We can add links to resources in your Canvas courses, digitize materials and help you navigate copyright and fair use guidelines.

Create direct and permanent links to online articles, journals and ebooks to reliably connect your students to the resources they need.

Request workshops and custom materials

Support student learning by requesting classroom visits or customized online materials tailored to your course needs. We support the development of academic skills and literacies in areas such as research, writing, transition and study skills. To learn more, contact us with your request.

Liaison librarians

Liaison librarians support the information needs of students and researchers by providing tailored research assistance, developing research resources, teaching research skills, offering resource recommendations, and maintaining collections. They collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into the curriculum.

Learning specialists

Learning specialists promote student success by developing materials, facilitating workshops, offering 1-1 consultations, and in class instruction. Areas of support include but are not limited to note-taking, study skills and writing at the undergraduate and graduate level. They also collaborate with faculty to integrate academic skills programming into the curriculum.

Creation of custom materials is dependent on learning specialist or librarian availability and complexity of the deliverable. Please discuss options with us as early as possible.
